Constructing new items with resources is a key part of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom and players can unlock Autobuild to help speed up the process. Autobuild is one of the best new abilities in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom and once acquired will become a necessary tool as players progress through Hyrule.

Early on in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom players are shown how to use Link's Ultrahand ability. This allows players to combine resources and make new items that are often required to progress and explore. Autobuild is a new upgrade to this and means players can rebuild items they have already made quickly.

How To Unlock Autobuild

To unlock Autobuild players need to venture to the Great Abandoned Central Mine. This is done during a main quest for Josha, 'Camera Work in the Depths', where players follow a path of large statues underground, but if players know the location they can go there before this once they have the glide suit in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom.

While it does not show up on the Depths map until it has been discovered the Great Abandoned Mine can be found directly underneath the Old Temple Of Time.

There are four nearby chasms that provide entrances to the Depths, which players will need to glide down into and all provide short paths to the Great Plateau where the Mine is located. Players will need to be stocked up on lights which can help to find the Abandoned Mine in the dark which is near impossible without. Once players are in the Depths and heading towards the Mine they need to look for a large structure that is more lit up than everything else around it.

Once players have found the Great Abandoned Mine there will be two researchers standing in front of an alter, which is highlighted in green. Players need to interact with this and a Construct will awake. A cut scene will start where players will learn the Autobuild ability before a quick tutorial showing how it works on a nearby object.

How To Use Autobuild

Players should be aware that once they have completed the Autobuild tutorial they will automatically be thrown into a boss battle, so it is best to save the game beforehand. Once unlocked Autobuild is very easy for players to use. Players just need to select which item they want to rebuild from a list of previously constructed items and as long as the required resources are available it will automatically be built.

Bringing objects together to build useful items to help Link on his journey is essential in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom and Autobuild should be acquired as early as possible. Players will be constantly building a variety of objects and Autobuild makes it much quicker and is one of the most useful abilities in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom.
