The OWL for 2020 is finally here in Overwatch. Here's how players can unlock the special All-Star skins for each character in the game. Overwatch is one of the biggest competitive games out there right now. The game pits 2 teams of 6 against each other as they must support each other with all of the character's special abilities. There is a little bit of something for everyone in this game. Having a hard time aiming? Switch to a healer or tank. Want to be as annoying as possible? Play as Mei! Each character comes along with their own lore, abilities, and playstyles that can fit any player. Although, the OWL (Overwatch League) is here, pitting the best players in the world against one another. Here's how players can get their own All-Star skins in the game.

Competitive Overwatch is a big deal for those who are good enough to make it into the big leagues. In 2018, there was a total prize pool of $3.5 million dollars for the teams that were able to make it far enough into the bracket. Players spend just as much time as professional athletes perfecting their craft and making sure they are competitively viable for when the big tournament comes around. Blizzard, the developers behind Overwatch have actually created personal skins for each of the teams that participate in the league. Here's how players can get their hands on these skins and support their favorite Overwatch teams.

There are currently two ways for players to unlock the OWL All-Stars skins in the game.

  • Purchase Them: Players can pay $5 USD to purchase 100 tokens. Each skin costs about 200 tokens to get. This is only recommended for players who wish to support their team directly. Also, only invest in the skins of the characters you actually play often to save money.
  • Watch The Overwatch League Matches: For every hour of live view time the player watches, they will earn 5 OWL Tokens. The deeper in the bracket the season gets, the more tokens the player will earn. The best way to do this is just having it open on another tab and just rack out the free tokens. Make sure to watch the games on their YouTube channel.

It's incredible how Blizzard has been able to turn Overwatch into a competitive title. This is the third season yet and the game continues to evolve with new heroes and stages to play on. Overwatch 2 was even announced last year at Blizzcon with very little information or a release window. It's only a matter of time before players can learn more about this title. For now, enjoy the OWL!
