Tylor Strawmyer and Laura Barron had no idea what to expect when they found out they were expecting a baby on the aptly-named Unexpected. They appeared on season two of the series and, like many of their castmates, they were scared out of their minds. However, the two adapted and grew up a lot. They went on to get married, had another baby, and seemed pretty settled into family life. But things began to take a turn when cheating allegations arose and the two split up for a little while. Thankfully, they seem to have sorted things out now, as Laura recently defended her husband against trolls.

Tylor Strawmyer was a regular teenage kid until he discovered he had a kid on the way. Both he and Laura had to grow up quickly, prompting quite a few big changes in their lives. Both young teens seemed to understand the gravity of the situation and seemed to be the most stable couple of the entire season. Laura was supportive of Tylor's decision to join the Navy, which further contributed to the stability of their small family. In fact, the couple may have been too stable for the TLC series. Despite their growing family, they weren't invited back for another season of Unexpected, making fans even more curious about what the couple has been up to since the show ended.

After Unexpected, Tylor followed through with his decision to enlist in the Navy. In 2018, he was sworn in by his uncle (via Distractify). After he enlisted, the couple moved to California together. In April 2019, Laura announced they were expecting their second child. In October 2019, they welcomed their son, Leo Brian Strawmyer, into the world. However, tragedy struck in June 2020 when Laura moved back to Indiana with the couple's two children. Both she and Tylor posted negative things about each other on social media, making fans think they were over for good. Around that time, rumors began to surface that Tylor cheated on Laura and was expected a baby with another woman.

But despite their breakup, the couple worked hard to mend things for their children. By November 2020, they were back together and posting their cute family on social media once again. However, it is not without some baggage. During their break, Tylor started dating and got a 27-year-old woman pregnant. This happened while he was stationed in California, according to Starcasm. The woman alleged that they began dating in September and also claimed they were deeply in love. The ex-girlfriend went on to say Tylor has anger issues and he started to show who he truly was when he hit a bump in his navy career. However, Laura is standing by her man. She recently defended Tylor against online trolls, explaining they were on a break during his other relationship and that he didn't actually cheat (via Soap Dirt).

Tylor also opened about his struggles with mental health in September 2020 on Instagram. He shared with his followers that he battled depression and suicidal thoughts. He also said he had been seeking guidance and help from a mental healthcare center. Tylor and Laura are the only couple still standing from their season, so it is amazing to see how far the young love birds have come. They have been through a lot, but are pushing through to do the right thing for their kids. Being a teen parent isn't easy, especially when it comes to co-parenting, so the fact that they have lasted this long is commendable. At the end of the day, all fans can wish for them is happiness as they continue to navigate their marriage and raising their children.
