Pretty much every sitcom has one couple that is the center of it all. From Ross and Rachel to Jim and Pam, there are some duos that have fans hooked from the beginning, and a large part of the story is the on-and-off and will-they-won't-they.

While this has viewers infatuated, it often lets other couples get left in the dust. There are some partnerships that may be main characters, but their romance takes a backseat in the eyes of viewers - mainly because they're married or just plain stable. Plus, some sitcom couples just deserve a lot more love for being such a power duo.

Marshall & Lily (How I Met Your Mother)

When love triangles are part of a plot, it really does hide just about every other romantic relationship on the show. On How I Met Your Mothereveryone has their opinion about the Ted, Robin, and Barney drama.

While all fans know that Marshall and Lily are part of the main five, their romance often goes unnoticed. These two have had their hardships, but they're always there for each other. They get married and have a baby, and the rest is really history. This duo is unstoppable.

Dre & Rainbow (Black-Ish)

These two characters have completely different backgrounds and personalities, but they are immensely supportive of each other and understand one another in a refreshing way. Plus, Black-ish is full of parenting struggles and all its wholesome moments.

This show tends to get forgotten among sitcoms, but it's a hilarious and relatable watch that features one couple that's impossible not to love. Dre and Rainbow are quirky and tackle many aspects of real life, and they deserve some more love.

Ron & Diane (Parks And Recreation)

Everyone usually thinks about other couples from this show, and it's easy to ignore this romance, but fans shouldn't. Diane is always supporting Ron through thick and thin, and Ron actually becomes a pretty great guy after they get together.

From step-dad to father, this relationship is the reason Ron had such great character growth on Parks and Recreation. Fans often overlook them, when really their relationship is as pure and supportive as it gets. This marriage is absolute "goals".

Lionel & Anne (Workin' Moms)

This Canadian series follows a lot of couples and the struggle of work-life balance. There are many romances and lives to juggle in this series, but the entire show is completely underrated. Workin' Moms is quirky, hilarious, and not afraid to be outrageous and relatable.

While most of the show centers around Kate, Anne and Lionel's marriage is one part that true fans can't get enough of. They were together before the show started, and they couldn't be more opposite yet more supportive of each other. This couple proves that anything can be overcome with the right partner.

Chandler & Monica (Friends)

While everyone knows Chandler and Monica, it's pretty clear that they were in the shadows of Ross and Rachel, one of the most iconic television couples of all time, and their on-and-off again relationship. However, fans could probably agree that it was Chandler and Monica that had the best romance.

They filled each other's gaps, and were always supportive of each other. They never took breaks or gave up on each other, and actually found love when they weren't even looking. These two characters on Friends deserve to be #1.

Petra & J.R. (Jane The Virgin)

The entire romantic side of things on Jane the Virgin was pretty much solely around the love triangle between Jane, Rafael, and Michael. Because of this, there are some fans that think Petra and J.R. got undeservedly overshadowed throughout the series.

They were there for each other, and they had a romance that didn't need the drama of a love triangle. They had each other's hearts, and this 'background couple' actually deserves a lot more attention than it initially received on the show.

Cece & Schmidt (New Girl)

New Girl is definitely all about Nick and Jess and their will-they-won't-they relationship, but another main part of the show is Schmidt and Cec's romance, their marriage, and the birth of their daughter.

Yet most fans still just can't stop talking about Nick and Jess. Rather, fans of this show should realize that Cece and Schmidt had a pretty perfect relationship. They complimented each other's personalities, and their love never faltered when they decided to try it for real.

Rachel & Abed (Community)

The reason this couple didn't get a lot of love is partly due to the producers of the show. After the lovable Rachel was introduced, fans saw a pretty adorable and romantic side of Abed. Plus, they seemed to get each other in a way nobody else did.

However, Community definitely segued from this storyline, and fans barely got to see their romance flourish. However, every moment they had was totally precious, and their relationship should have gotten more attention both from the creators and the viewers.

Bernadette & Howard (The Big Bang Theory)

Sheldon and Amy and Leonard and Penny are inarguably the main attraction of The Big Bang Theory when it comes to romances. However, one stable couple that the show featured (and among the main characters) was Howard and Bernadette.

They got together pretty early on, and just lived a normal married life and eventually had children. They had some hiccups, but they were a stable love story that was really all about support and being there for each other. They certainly deserve more credit.

David & Patrick (Schitt's Creek)

When it comes to underrated couples, David and Patrick have to be mentioned. Schitt's Creek blew everyone out of the water the past few years, but not enough fans are talking about the perfect, adorable, and totally refreshing love story of David and Patrick.

Fans got to see them meet and turn their business adventure into a supportive relationship full of fun and love. Patrick keeps David grounded and David kept Patrick on his toes, and their love story is definitely one of the most underrated on television - and these two are soulmates.
