Players will be able to transfer data to Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection, moving their save files and Trophies from the PS4 versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The updated rerelease was announced during September’s PlayStation Showcase livestream and will bring the latest two entries in Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise to PS5 later this week.

Released back in 2016, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End sees an aged Nathan Drake team up with his long-lost brother Sam for one last adventure in search of Henry Avery's buried treasure. Meanwhile, 2017’s Uncharted: The Lost Legacy features an uneasy alliance between Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross as they journey across India’s Western Ghats mountains on a hunt for the legendary Tusk of Ganesh. Both these titles earned high praise when they first launched thanks to their immersive platforming gameplay, high-adrenaline action sequences, and stunning graphics. All of these aspects will be retained and enhanced in Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection, which marks the first time any of the Uncharted games have been playable on PC.

Players won’t have to worry about losing progress or achievements when they make the jump to Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves, as a recent tweet by PlayStation UK confirms that save files and Trophies from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy can be transferred over to the PS5 remaster of these titles. Later comments explain that this will be done through Cloud Storage on PlayStation Plus, and PlayStation UK assures players who want to start the games contained in the Legacy Of Thieves Collection over from scratch that they will have that option as well.

Since 2007, the Uncharted series has been thrilling PlayStation players with the action-packed adventures of treasure hunter Nathan Drake and his various allies as they journey across the world in search of priceless artifacts - all while fending off many dangerous enemies along the way. While no new Uncharted games are confirmed to be in development, love for the series remains strong. Last year saw the 10th anniversary of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, and MCU star Tom Holland is set to bring Nathan Drake to the silver screen in the upcoming live-action Uncharted movie next month.

With all this in mind, Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection seems to be coming at just the right time for fans of Nathan Drake’s blockbuster treasure-seeking adventures. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy are fun titles that are set to impress all over again on the PS5 and PC, and it’s reassuring to know that Sony is giving players the option to carry their achievements from the original PS4 versions to Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection when it finally releases for PS5 on January 28. A PC release date is yet to be confirmed.
