Tom Holland offers clarification on his and Mark Wahlberg's heights after a joke about it was included in a new teaser for Uncharted. Hot off the heels of his mega-success with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland is set to hit the big screen once more, this time as adventurer Nathan Drake. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, Uncharted sees Holland's character attempt to track down the fabled golden city of El Dorado before Moncada (Antonio Banderas), a ruthless treasure hunter, gets there first.

Mark Wahlberg stars alongside Holland in the upcoming film, playing fan-favorite character Victor "Sully" Sullivan. Initial trailers for Uncharted tease the beginnings of a friendship between the two characters, although one not short on playful digs. After many fans expressed disappointment at the first trailer with the lack of Sully's iconic mustache, the second trailer for Uncharted features Sully looking more like his video game counterpart, mustache and all.

Accompanying a short new teaser for the film posted to his Instagram, Holland clarifies the difference in height between him and Wahlberg. The clarification comes after an exchange at the end of the teaser between their two characters. "We better get small, or in your case smaller," says Wahlberg as Sully. To which, Holland replies: "You're only like one inch taller than me." The teaser ends with Wahlberg saying, "I think it's a little more than that, kid." Holland clarifies in his caption that his line in the movie is actually accurate, writing: "For the record, [Mark Wahlberg] is 5'9" to my 5'8."Check out Holland's original post below:

If the trailers and teasers are any indications, Uncharted will feature a lot of friendly ribbing between Sully and Nathan. It remains to be seen how effective the chemistry between the two actors is on-screen, but Holland's recent post suggests the playful dynamic between the two characters might extend, at least to some extent, to their relationship off-screen. The movie is clearly adhering to the Sully and Nathan dynamic established in the Uncharted games, which depict Sully in a somewhat paternal role with similar amounts of banter.

As demonstrated in his three Spider-Man movies, Holland excels at lighthearted ribbing with more adult co-stars. Be it Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man or Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, Holland has always been good at playing up Peter Parker's naïve optimism while his co-stars keep things more down-to-earth. Of course, Nathan Drake and Peter Parker are vastly different characters in many ways, so, hopefully, Holland is able to strike gold a second time and bring another beloved character to the big screen in a way that honors the original source material. Audiences don't have long to wait now until they get to see Holland and Wahlberg in action with Uncharted scheduled to release in theaters on February 18th.
