'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune' Movie Finds New Writers

The good folks over at Latino Review have the scoop on an update for the film adaptation for the successful and critically acclaimed video game, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

As it turns out, Kyle Ward, the man originally hired to pen the script has been dropped by Sony due to his contractual obligations to other projects (Hitman 2, Kane & Lynch). Sony wasn't interested in delaying or waiting so they've brought in the pair of writers behind the Conan reboot: Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer.

As any aware gamer knows, Uncharted and its sequel are developed Naughty Dog, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment only for PlayStation 3.
