Pedro Pascal has shared his hilarious response to breaking 14 cars for a stunt in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Pascal plays Javi Gutierrez, a billionaire super-fan of Nicolas Cage who pays the actor to attend his birthday party. When the CIA approaches Cage and informs him that Javi is actually a drug lord, Cage gets recruited to take Javi down, though challenges arise as he struggles between doing what he's been asked and maintaining his bromance with Javi.

The film, which also stars Demi Moore, Ike Barinholtz, Neil Patrick Harris, and Tiffany Haddish in addition to Pascal and Cage, has already gotten a wonderful reception just a few weeks ahead of its April 22 premiere date. It's 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics and other audience members praising the performances by Pascal and Cage. The comedy is described as being heartfelt, as the admiration Javi has for Cage, and eventually vice versa, seeps into everything that goes down during the course of the film. Teasers and trailers have revealed this bond through moments such as heart-to-heart conversations and comedic stunts.

Now, Pascal himself has offered a hilarious response via Twitter as to what filming those moments was like. The film's official Twitter account, NickCageMovie, shared a clip from The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent of Pascal's character running into the street and getting hit by a car, along with text that revealed Pascal broke 14 prop cars to make the stunt possible and reassurance that "he didn't get a scratch on him." Pascal added his own anecdote to the funny video by quoting the tweet and saying that he completed each run of the stunt "without messing up my hair." Pascal added a fun element to the already hilarious story while also confirming that he was actually the one who completed the stunt. Following a back injury he sustained on the set of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Pascal has struggled to do some of the stunts required of him, something he has also briefly mentioned in reference to his role as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian. The clip offers successful and realistic stunt work by Pascal that did not, in fact, mess up his well-cared-for hair that he grew out for the role.

With just weeks to go until the premiere of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, audiences are ready to see the 100% fresh film for themselves. The movie is already looking to be a smash hit for both Cage and Pascal, despite the fact Cage initially rejected his role in the film four times before accepting. Many critics have described the film as a love letter to Cage and his filmography, which is something Pascal himself has added to with multiple interviews of him speaking about his admiration for Cage's acting that began at an early age. It won't be much longer until The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent hits the screens just like Javi against that car.
