Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino is loving The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On on Netflix but is not a fan of the show's star Alexis Maloney, whom he called a gold digger on his Instagram Story. The streaming service dropped the first eight episodes of the show on April 6 before unveiling the finale and reunion episodes on April 13. The Ultimatum immediately gained a massive fan base, and viewers haven't been able to stop talking about the show. They were quickly drawn to show star April Melohn, believing her to be more mature than other contestants. On the other hand, they were turned off from Rae Williams and Madlyn Ballatori, finding them both to be pretty toxic.

Alexis was another star who started off with a bad reputation. She joined the show, giving an ultimatum to her boyfriend, Hunter Parr, but was quick to tell fellow star Colby Kissinger that she didn't want to marry her current boyfriend until he made more money. The star made it very clear that financial status was a top priority for her in life and relationships. Alexis unapologetically admitted she thinks money does matter, and she never wants to live a life where she has to choose between one thing or another because she can't afford both. However, before the show kicked into gear, Hunter proposed to Alexis, and the two did not follow through with the social experiment. Alexis appeared later in the season for a small bachelorette party with the other female stars and again in the reunion episode, announcing that she and Hunter were still engaged.

The Ultimatum has certainly found a fan in Vinny, and he's not afraid to state his real opinion on Alexis. In an Instagram Story, Vinny explained the premise of the Netflix series before blatantly calling Alexis a "gold digger." The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star laughed at the show's plot, finding it comical that anyone would go on the Netflix show not wanting to marry their partner but then fall in love with someone else that they barely know. When he got to talking about Alexis, he said, "There's this blonde girl who nobody likes, and she's just admitting she's a gold digger and she doesn't want to marry the dude because he doesn't make enough money."

Netflix The Ultimatum

He went on to explain that no one on The Ultimatum wants Alexis because she's "horrible" and suggests the only reason Hunter and her got engaged on the show is because none of the other stars wanted to choose either of them as their partner. Vinny has his own experience with reality dating shows when, after the success of the Jersey Shore revival, he and co-star Pauly DelVecchio starred together on Double Shot At Love With DJ Pauly D & Vinny, a spin-off of the 2007 MTV series, A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila. Unfortunately, Vinny has yet to find a successful relationship on the show, but Pauly has been officially dating former contestant Nikki Hall seemingly since 2020.

The Jersey Shore star didn't say anything others watching the show weren't already thinking. Alexis came onto the Netflix series proudly declaring her love for money, and while everyone's entitled to their opinion, it's understandable why some of the other guys were turned off by her shallow comments. Maybe Vinny could have been a little nicer to the star, but his unfiltered opinion is what has won fans over for the past 13 years. Vinny certainly loves The Ultimatum's entertaining plot, but hopefully, Alexis isn't too upset that the star is not such a big fan of her.
