Ubisoft Forward kicked off E3 2021 with two hours of content, giving viewers first looks and exciting updates to the games in the Ubisoft universe. Though Ubisoft teased what was to come before the event started, they still managed to surprise audiences with massive reveals.

Starting with an hour of preshow, the company updated players on new features coming to Ubisoft titles, new development initiatives, and interviews with game creators, musicians and more. As promised prior to the event, Ubisoft delivered update news for Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, Trackmania and Watch Dogs: Legion.

Ubisoft Forward was hosted by Neelam and Youssef, who dove right in, immediately giving fans a look at the newest Rainbow Six title. CEO Yves Guillemot made a special appearance for the Ubisoft Forward finale, giving words of congratulations and encouragement to the Ubisoft team, and giving a final, surprise world premiere trailer. E3 2021: Ubisoft Reveals Its Avatar Game

James Cameron's Avatar is coming to the video game universe. Ubisoft premiered a first-look trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, coming in 2022. The trailer showed stunning scenery of Pandora as a Na'vi character adventures through, teasing gameplay to come. A Ubisoft press release describes the game as "a first person, action-adventure game," in which players act as a Na'vi and embark on a journey across the planet, facing dangers from new creatures and an encroaching RDA threat.

E3 2021: Ubisoft Far Cry 6 Villain Spotlight

During Ubisoft's event Far Cry 6 premiered a new trailer, showcasing Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo, showing the highly anticipated villain in action. In the trailer, group of people, presumably refugees, are shown fleeing in a boat. Castillo tracks them down, capturing his son Diego in the process. Ubisoft offered a deep dive into the mind of Castillo, explaining how they crafted a textured character fans could latch onto. Far Cry 6 is also featuring a season pass, which will allow holders to receive three DLC episodes: "Vaas: Insanity," "Pagan: Control," and "Joseph: Collapse."

E3 2021: Ubisoft's New Rainbow Six Game

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction will launch Sept. 16 will full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression features. Notably, the game was renamed, previously touting the title Rainbow Six Quarantine. The gameplay trailer was action-packed, showcasing a dangerous alien threat that unleashed a contaminant.

Hibana, as well as several other M.I.A. agents, have been captured and won't be playable until rescued. Developers of the game then walked viewers through an extensive gameplay trailer, breaking down the mechanics of Rainbow Six Extraction's setting and multiplayer options.

E3 2021: Ubisoft's Music Game Rocksmith+

Ubisoft also unveiled Rocksmith+, an interactive music learning subscription service coming later this year. The program teaches users how to play the guitar or bass, allowing them to play along to any song in the Rocksmith library. Ubisoft is also adding the Rocksmith Workshop, which teaches users to create their own music within the app to the library of music. The program also helps players improve. Registration for Rocksmith+ beta is now open.

E3 2021: Ubisoft's Rider's Republic Release Date

A release date for Rider's Republic was announced, coming Sept. 2. The game is for anyone who loves extreme sports, in which players work to build a virtual career in mountain biking, snowboarding, base jumping, parachuting and more. Any action within the game offers the opportunity to earn stars, which can unlock new challenges, maps, gear and events. The game features several multiplayer modes, including mass races, trick battles, free-for-all, versus mode and multiplayer competition. Every action a player takes in the game counts toward experience, even stopping to take in the view.

E3 2021: Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege Update

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is entering its sixth year. To celebrate, a new agent is being added to the team. Thunderbird is a veritable badass, shown shooting down a bear with a flare gun. She joins the Rainbow Six Siege story just in time for the North Star battle pass event, starting June 14. The game is launching on Stadia, and will allow cross-play progression to players on Stadia, Luna, and PC.

Developers anticipate cross-play between Xbox and PlayStation consoles will be available in 2022. The game is also being updated so a player's progress stays constant, regardless of where the player is logging in from.

E3 2021: Ubisoft's New Just Dance Game

Just Dance 2022 is a go, featuring over 40 new hit songs. Todrick Hall's song "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels" will be featured, and Hall collaborated with the Just Dance team to create a new music video for the song exclusive to the game. Fans have the opportunity to collaborate on the new music video as well. Other song additions include "Believer" by Imagine Dragons and "Level Up" by Ciara. Players who subscribe to Just Dance Unlimited will also have access to the library of songs from prior Just Dance titles.

E3 2021: Ubisoft's AC Valhalla DLC Updates

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is bringing a second year of content to fans. The upcoming expansion, called the Siege of Paris, is coming this summer. The story will sent Eivor on a quest through the French countryside, and will bring back Black Box Infiltration missions. A new Discovery Tour is also coming, an educational expansion which will allow players to take a deeper dive into the Viking world.

Mario has returned to the Ubisoft Universe with Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The trailer showed Mario, Luigi and Peach and their Rabbid friends sailing through outer space on a mission to save the universe from the evil Cursa. The game introduces the Sparks, friendly floating space creatures who help Mario and his team.

E3 2021: Other Ubisoft Reveals (During The Pre-Show)

Watch Dogs: Legion announced an upcoming expansion titled "Bloodline," available July 6. "Bloodline" is a standalone narrative in which Aiden must work with his nephew to execute a dangerous quest. According to Ubisoft, "Bloodline" takes place before the primary quest in Watch Dogs: Legion.

The Brawlhalla epic crossovers continue as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are set to join the fray June 16. Their arrival kicks off a new game mode called Crew Battles, a new K.O. effect and new signature Turtle attacks.
