A new Ubisoft test server update appears to have leaked Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1 weapons loadouts well ahead of schedule, as the weapons were tagged to be unveiled during the Six Invitational 2020 three months from now. Ubisoft only recently brought the Rainbow Six Siege test server on PC online, helping create an environment where the developer can test the many additions it has planned for future content before unleashing it into the wild.

With that said, Rainbow Six Siege leaks aren't exactly a new occurrence for Ubisoft, which has made something of a habit of accidentally revealing some of the game's biggest and most exciting updates in advance of their planned announcements. That's been the case for Rainbow Six Siege operators in the past, and although it's obviously a devastating moment for the developers working on the new content and excited for the reveal, it generally ramps up fan anticipation as well. With Operation Shifting Tides coming soon and new operators in Kali and Wamai, players of the game - which has been running since 2015 and continues to overperform as a multiplayer esport even into 2019 - the community is already looking forward to what's on the horizon.

Now, Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1 weapons might be another element of the game that fans can look forward to in advance. The leak comes via a report on Windows Central that suggests the new test server has unfortunately given fans access to more info than they were meant to be privy to, with new "Y5S1 ATK" and "Y5S1 DEF" icons displayed on each Operator that is compatible with searched single-weapon cosmetic skins in the client. Essentially, the information can be used to confirm the full loadouts for next season - or, at least, how they appear to be configured at this point in time.

According to the report, Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1 will largely continue to use existing weapons, with attackers getting the G36C and ARX200 accompanied by the MK1 9mm pistol. Defenders will pick up the MP5 and SPAS-12, while also adding the USP40 semi-automatic pistol and Bailiff 410 revolver, the latter of which has been popular among fans. Of course, these details might change or could be false flags on the test server, but they do have the appearance of a legit leak at this point in time.

Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Season 1 weapons aren't exactly the biggest leak Ubisoft could have had, but it's certainly a sizable one. At the very least, it's not as disastrous as full details of operators leaking ahead of announcement, and it's evidence that Ubisoft continues to pay close attention to the multiplayer community, as the loadouts look interesting at first glance and should make for an exciting 2020 for Rainbow Six Siege.
