Even after their breakup, Tyler Cameron of The Bachelorette fame said he still respects ex Gigi Hadid and confirmed they are still friends. The two had busy lives and it wasn't, as Cameron says, a "bad breakup."

Cameron and Hadid started dating soon after The Bachelorette finale. Cameron accompanied Hadid overseas to her grandma's funeral and he moved closer to Hadid in New York City to pursue his modeling career. The two weren't public with their relationship, quite possibly because they had doubts about its longevity. As often occurs when two celebrities begin dating, the twists and turns of life in the spotlight create a more turbulent situation than normal couples face. Since Cameron and Hadid broke up, there has been speculation about a reconciliation with Bachelorette Hannah Brown. He even reached out to her on her birthday. But Brown isn't looking to enter into a long-term relationship as she continues her run on Dancing With the Stars. And Cameron likely has plenty of other celebrities fawning over him as he slowly wades back into the dating pool.

Speaking with Andrea Boehlke for People TV, Cameron said he remains on good terms with Hadid. Cameron told Boehlke, “She’s someone that I have a lot of respect for and think highly of, so I met a great person.” He said the reason for the split was that Cameron, 26, and Hadid, 24, were at different parts of their life. In the past, Cameron has been coy about his relationship with Hadid, but now that it has ended and they are friends, he feels more comfortable to speak about it.

Although Hadid possibly shaded her ex with one of her fashion choices, Cameron noted the two get along when they've run into each other after the show. Cameron said on People TV“We’re just friends."

It's not surprising to hear how Cameron speaks of Hadid post-breakup. He has always been known for his respect of women, especially Brown. He supported Brown through the Luke P. saga and at various other points throughout the season, even after she broke his heart as he was getting ready to propose. He's been vocal on Twitter, encouraging stars like Kim Kardashian to stand up against the misogynistic views of Kanye West. While he didn't find love on The Bachelorette and he has yet to find the love of his life after the show, he proves with the way he handles each failed relationship that he is mature beyond his years.
