CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men was a successful show of the 2000s, running for a whopping twelve seasons and 262 episodes. The show even survived the on-screen death of one of the main characters and still managed to crank out four seasons afterward.

Jake and Charlie Two and a Half Men

Charlie teaches Jake a little lesson about screening calls to avoid Evelyn, Charlie and Alan's mother, but she eventually ends up visiting the house anyway despite their efforts. She requests the boys' appearance at a dinner so that they can meet her new boyfriend Tommy, who brings his daughter Olivia. When it comes to light that Charlie and Olivia were once involved in a fling that ended sourly, things go downhill from there.

Season 2, Episode 7: A Kosher Slaughterhouse Out In Fontana - 7.6

If there's anyone who can manipulate people into giving her what she wants, it's Evelyn Harper, and this time she has convinced her reluctant sons to throw her a party in honor of a recent recognition in her real estate career.

Berta and her sister Daisy agree to host and cater, but with their arguing and Daisy's hot temper, the evening looks like it won't go off as planned. Luckily Charlie is there to bring the sisters back together, but the party is still in jeopardy when Daisy takes attention away from Evelyn.

Season 3, Episode 17: The Unfortunate Little Schnauzer - 7.7

Charlie has been nominated for an award for a jingle he has written, but his arch-rival who always wins was nominated too. Archie Baldwin wrote a jingle about saving orphans, so obviously he is going to win with the tug-on-your-heartstrings angle. Charlie doesn't want to go to the award ceremony, but his family, who thinks it's a great honor to be nominated, manages to get him there. By the end of the night, everyone is singing, "Save the orphans!" and Charlie is sick of it.

Season 4, Episode 3: The Sea Is A Harsh Mistress - 7.7

Both episode three and four hold the title of lowest score for season four, and in episode three, Charlie has decided to take up surfing in attempts to impress the latest lady in his life. When things go belly up, Charlie almost drowns and is sure that he had a vision of his late father. His father doesn't just show up to say hello — he has a message for his older son: "Take care of your mother." Charlie is torn about what this message means and his feelings about his mother.

Season 5, Episode 7: Our Leather Gear Is In The Guest Room - 7.8

Nothing like a dish of candy to break up two brothers. Alan has recently purchased a bowl that he wants to put on the  coffee table, but Charlie tells him he's not allowed to. Alan does so anyway, which leads to a fight that causes Alan to take Jake and move in with Evelyn.

Evelyn, however, wants to have her privacy with Teddy, so she takes it upon herself to make sure that Alan and Charlie make up. Of course Charlie couldn't get rid of Alan that easily!

Season 6, Episode 5: A Jockstrap From Hell - 7.7

Three episodes hold the bottom slot this time, but the first to premiere was episode five, in which Alan, Charlie, and Jake happen to see Jake's old teacher, Dolores, whom Charlie had a fling with. It turns out that after the two broke up, Dolores' life was completely flipped upside down, landing her a job as a stripper and a motel to call home. Feeling guilty that he caused her current situation, Charlie decides to help Dolores get her life back on track.

Season 7, Episode 17: I Found Your Moustache - 7.6

Charlie is suffering from a broken heart after he gets dumped by Chelsea, and Alan decides that what he needs is a night out. That plan fails when the boys run into Chelsea herself. She spends the night with Charlie, who is upset to learn that they are still broken up, even after their evening together. He ends up visiting her place later with flowers in tow, only to find her father and his boyfriend, who attempt to give him a bit of advice.

Season 8, Episode 12: Chocolate Diddlers Or My Puppy's Dead - 7.5

Poor Charlie is going through yet another break up, this time with Courtney. His heartache is causing him to act a bit strange, causing his family to worry about him. He's also not bouncing back in the women department like he normally does.

After interrupting Alan and Lindsey as well as Jake and Eldridge on their respective hangouts, Charlie heads back to therapy where he has the sad realization that he doesn't have any friends other than Alan.

Season 9, Episode 2: People Who Love Peepholes - 5.0

This episode sets the scene for the rest of the series. After Charlie's death, Walden buys his house, asking Berta to move in as housekeeper and leaving Alan to move in with his mother, much to his dismay. Walden invites Alan to hang out, and Alan quickly agrees, desperate to get away from his mom and her bedroom adventures. After Alan covers for Walden with his estranged wife the next morning, Walden says that he owes Alan a favor. Alan asks if he can move back into the house until he finds his own place, and Walden agrees.

Season 10, Episode 13: Grab A Feather And Get In Line - 5.6

Walden as been leading a double live, pretending to be a man named Sam Wilson and lying to his girlfriend Kate. He thinks that Kate might be the one he's meant to be with forever, and he decides that he wants to come clean. He drags Alan to Kate's fashion show to break the news in person.

Alan hopes that he'll be able to see a Broadway musical, but instead, Alan, Walden, and the various people surrounding them break into their own sort of musical number with a song entitled, "You're a Douche."

Season 11, Episode 2: I Think I Banged Lucille Ball - 6.0

Charlie's long-lost daughter Jenny has shown up, and Evelyn invites her granddaughter to live with her and her boyfriend. Walden says that Jenny is welcome to stay at his house whenever she likes because he sees her and the Harpers as family. Meanwhile, Alan and Lindsey start a casual fling while she is dating someone else, and while he initially is happy about it, he soon realizes that he wants more out of the relationship than just hook-ups.

Season 12, Episode 15: Of Course He's Dead - 3.9

In the series finale, Alan receives word the there are unpaid royalties for Charlie, but he cannot get them without proof of Charlie's death. Realizing that there is no proof other than what Rose told them, Alan and the family start to become suspicious that he may be alive. Large sums of money and apology letters mysteriously get delivered to Charlie's friends, and threatening messages are received by the family. When Rose claims that Charlie is actually alive and has been held captive, Alan and Walden must go to the police with the hopes that things will be sorted.
