After Charlie Harper made a rather unceremonious exit from Two and a Half Men, the series struggled to make things work. It got even worse when Jake Harper also left the series. This left Alan alone with Berta and his mother Evelyn, which wasn't a good scene as neither of them liked him, and Walden just barely tolerated him. That's when his unknown niece, Jenny, arrived.

The 25-year-old illegitimate daughter of Charlie Harper showed up on Alan and Walden's doorstep. She was a lot like her father in some very unfortunate ways, though she was still capable of doing some actually sweet things from time to time.

WORST: Had Sex With Lyndsey

Alan lays his head on Lyndsay’s lap on the couch

Like most women who encounter Alan Harper, Lyndsey McElroy's life was borderline ruined by meeting him. That being said, she wasn't exactly the best person in the world, either. Lyndsey cheated on virtually every person she was in a relationship with.

She actually slept with Alan's exes while they were together. Lyndsey and Jenny also had a sexual relationship, something that would have especially hurt Alan as she was his niece. He may not have known about that, though, which would have been for the best.

BEST: Bonding With Her Family

Jenny arrives at the beach house

Prior to Charlie's "death," Jenny hadn't seen him since her fourth birthday. Her mother said she wasn't allowed to spend time with him anymore, probably because Charlie was a terrible influence on adults, let alone children.

Jenny arrived at a time in the lives of Charlie's extended family when they were mourning his loss. Bonding with them gave them a chance to heal on some levels, then try to move on with their lives.

WORST: Got In Between Lynda Carter And Alan

Alan looks at his Wonder Woman poster

Lynda Carter, best known as Wonder Woman from the classic TV series, was Alan's celebrity crush. When he found out that Walden knew her, he asked his roommate to set them up on a date. Walden initially refused, but later relented.

He probably should have stuck to his guns. At some point in the evening, Jenny stepped into the middle of the situation and ended up sleeping with Lynda Carter and another woman. It would have been heart-breaking for Alan if he ever found out about it.

BEST: Opening Up To Brooke

Jenny and Brooke on the couch

Jenny was depicted as being an unrelenting womanizer like her father, but one woman may have made her change her ways. Brooke was supposed to be yet another one night stand but she changed the game when she was the one who ducked out on Jenny.

It took some time, but Jenny and Brooke ended up forming a real connection. Jenny was even able to eventually open up to Brooke on an emotional level, which was incredibly difficult for her to do.

WORST: Hit On Walden's Mother

Alan and Robin at a bar

The only thing worse than sleeping with Lynda Carter under Alan's nose was the other member of that sexual encounter. It was Walden's mother, Robin, and he would not have been happy about that one.

Jenny had met Robin earlier in the day, and expressed interest in her, much to Walden's chagrin. Robin was around the beach house at the same time as Jenny and Lynda, which led to their evening together. Much like Alan, it's probably for the best that Walden was in the dark on this.

BEST: She Was Evelyn's Maid Of Honor

Evelyn making a point on Two and a Half Men

Evelyn was Alan and Charlie's hard-nosed, tough as nails mother who constantly called them out and was exceedingly happy to rein in their ridiculousness. But she loved her children and her grandchildren deeply.

The connection between Evelyn and Jenny was immediate. Jenny filled an empty place in Evelyn's life left by Charlie. She was even going to be Evelyn's Maid of Honor at her wedding but it never happened as the wedding was called off.

WORST: Didn't Try To Meet Her Family

The Harpers

As previously mentioned, Jenny hadn't seen Charlie since her mother imposed a ban on him after her fourth birthday. But Charlie stayed in touch, sending Jenny monthly checks well into her 20s.

But Jenny also didn't come looking for her family until the checks stopped. While she wasn't only interested in the money, it was still odd that she didn't try to find Charlie or the rest of her family before he passed away.

BEST: Actually Nice To Alan

Alan was a favorite punching bag for pretty much everyone on the show. That included his ex-wife, Charlie, his mother, Berta and virtually every single woman he had a relationship with.

Outside of Herb, his former wife's second husband, the only other character who was actually nice to Alan was Jenny. She seemed to love her uncle greatly, though sleeping with his girlfriend and childhood crush was a weird way of showing it.

WORST: An Unrepentant Womanizer

Jenny in the kitchen

Charlie Harper had a lot of bad personality traits but one of his worst ones was his perpetual womanizing. The endless string of women leaving his beach house broke a lot of hearts and hurt many people.

While this might not be something that could be passed down through genetics, Jenny turned out to be more than a little like her father in that regard. Much like Charlie, Jenny hurt a number of women through her continuous womanizing.

BEST: Gave Evelyn Some Closure

Evelyn and Charlie together

The most important thing that Jenny did in the entire series was unintentional on her part. After Charlie was believed to have died, Evelyn was impacted on a level even she wasn't even truly aware of.

When Jenny showed up, both Evelyn and Berta commented that it was like having Charlie around, again. Jenny gave her grandmother something she desperately needed, keeping in mind that Evelyn seemed to like Jenny a lot more than either Charlie or Alan.
