Recently, we discovered that Lionsgate's Hunger Games film series would take a cue from Harry Potter and Twilight - maximizing potential revenue by adding an extra film to the original book trilogy. Just as work on the next young-adult novel-turned high-profile film series began amping-up, Twilight faithful are also gearing-up for part 1 of Breaking Dawn, the final book (and second to last film) in the beloved Vampire-love series.
It's going to be a bittersweet year and a half for fans - kicking-off with a short teaser clip, and formal inviation, to the wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
Earlier this year we reported on a quote from Robert Pattinson who, if you've been living under a rock (or try and avoid melodramatic vampire love stories), plays fan-favorite blood-sucker Cullen - speaking about the mature content featured in the final Twilight book, much of which was at least shot for the film:
“I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG-13 … unless they cut everything out… There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on — really very, very, very strange. It’s great. For a big, mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie.”
Despite the fact that much of the mature content will appear off-screen, anyone who has read the book knows that the blissful and serene wedding scene featured in the new clip is the impetus for a batch of flat-out disturbing moments, and one especially gratuitous scene, leading-up to the finale.

Think you're excited for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1? Judging by the smirk on Pattinson's face, you're probably not the only one. No doubt the teaser succeeds in delivering on what will surely be an epic moment in the series - giving fans snap glimpses at Pattinson and other key characters without revealing Bella in full. The use of Two Steps from Hell's track "Infinite Legends" is a bizarre fit for the teaser - even when taking into consideration the scope of the conflict that will be featured in the proceeding events.
If the teaser took your breath away, then you probably already know that Twilight headliners Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting a longer first-look Breaking Dawn clip at this year's MTV Movie Awards - airing Sunday night. We'll be sure to get that footage up on the site as well - whenever it drops online.
