Twilight brought Stephenie Meyer's bestselling books to the big screen, turning the four books into five movies that ended up as mega-successful blockbusters. The Twilight movies, telling the story of a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire while putting herself and his family in mortal danger, captured the hearts of fans worldwide.

While the movies mostly focused on three characters, human Bella, vampire Edward, and werewolf Jacob, there were several other notable characters in the movie, and many of them ended up as big names themselves, some of whom many fans might be surprised to remember that a Twilight role is on their résumé.

Christian Serratos

Most fans will remember Anna Kendrick played Jessica, one of Bella's first friends, when she moved to Forks to live with her dad. While Kendrick was a familiar face to fans, another friend of the girls seems almost unrecognizable from her more famous role.

This friend was Angela, played by Christian Serratos. The bespectacled and insecure high school girl is unrecognizable as the tough-as-nails warrior Rosita in The Walking Dead.

Maggie Grace

Many fans will remember Maggie Grace for several big roles over her career. She was Shannon on the sci-fi series Lost, Liam Neeson's daughter Kim in the Taken movie franchise, and more recently, Althea in Fear the Walking Dead.

However, some fans might have forgotten she was also in the last two Twilight movies as the vampire Irina, who, along with her sisters, originated the succubus myth. She died in the final confrontation with the Volturi after betraying the Cullens.

Daniel Cudmore

There were some very familiar faces in the Volturi. The two most famous included Michael Sheen, who also played a werewolf in the Underworld movies, and Dakota Fanning. However, there was another member of the Volturi guard that many fans likely missed. This was Felix, a high-ranking member of the Volturi guard who showed up for the final confrontation. Daniel Cudmore played Felix in the Twilight movies; X-Men fans also know Cudmore as Colossus from the original X-Men trilogy.

Rami Malek

Rami Malek became a star thanks to his starring role on Mr. Robot, where he was a terrorist (played by Christian Slater). That was just the start for Malek, as he went on to win a Golden Globe for his role as Freddy Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Malek also had a small but important role in Twilight: Breaking Dawn. He was the vampire Benjamin, a member of the Egyptian coven. He had the power to influence the elements of nature, including fire, water, earth, and air, and was there for the final confrontation with the Volturi.

Lee Pace

Lee Pace was one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful villains, appearing in the first Guardians of the Galaxy as Ronan the Accuser. He also had a cult favorite role in the fantasy television series Pushing Daisies, which earned him an Emmy nomination for his role as a man returned from the dead who can't touch another human or they will die as well. His role in Twilight: Breaking Dawn was unlike either of those roles. He was Garrett, a nomadic vampire who aided the Cullens in their confrontation with the Volturi.

JD Pardo

JD Pardo is a man who went on to develop a very popular role years after appearing in a Twilight movie. In Breaking Dawn: Part 2, Pardo was Nahuel, a half-human/vampire hybrid who showed up with Alice Cullen at the confrontation with the Volturi.

She brought him from South America to prove that Bella's daughter presented no threat as a hybrid since Nahuel lived peacefully and without incident with his family. Pardo became the lead character, EZ, in the Son's of Anarchy spinoff Mayans, M.C.

Rachelle Lefevre

The reason people might have forgotten Rachelle Lefevre was in Twilight was that her character ended up recast. Lefevre starred in the first two Twilight movies as Victoria Sutherland, the red-haired vampire with a grudge against Bella and the Cullen family and wanted to do anything to destroy them. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Bryce Dallas Howard replaced her in the third film, and it is the more famous Howard that fans now recognize as Victoria in the movie franchise. Lefevre later said she was "stunned" the producers couldn't work things out to bring her back.

Graham Greene

Graham Greene appeared in the New Moon as Harry Clearwater. Harry was one of Charlie Swan's friends, and he ended up having a tough ending in the Twilight movie series. Victoria returned to this movie, looking for revenge against Bella for the death of James and is killing hikers. Harry died of a heart attack when confronted by Victoria, but he saved Charlie before his death. Greene is an Oscar-nominated actor, picking up his nom for his role in the 1990 movie, Dances With Wolves, where he portrayed Kicking Bird.

Wendell Pierce

Wendell Pierce appeared in Breaking Dawn - Part II, where he played the role of J. Jenks. He is the attorney in the final Twilight movie Bella sees for forged birth certificates, passports, and driver's licenses for both Jacob and Renesmee. He does so at the request of Jasper. While it was a small role, Pierce has a nice list of credits to his name, starring as James Greer in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and Robert Zane in Suits.

Stephenie Meyer

While she is not technically an actor, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer appeared in two different Twilight movies. In the first Twilight movie, there is a scene where Charlie is waiting for Bella at the diner, and before she shows up, the camera focuses on the counter where Meyer is working on a laptop. She then returned in Breaking Dawn - Part I as a guest at Edward and Bella's wedding.
