It can wind up being fairly stressful to be inside of a massive jetplane with hundreds of people inside wishing to make it to their destination safely. Sometimes still players may want to just kick back and relax so that they can look out the window to see the beautiful world pass them by. In these instances, the player may want to trigger their plane's autopilot feature so that they don't have to worry about it. This guide shows players how to turn autopilot on.

Turning on the game's autopilot is not a very hard thing to do, but it also isn't a straightforward intuitive feature. Players won't find an autopilot button on the dash of any of their favorite aircraft. Instead, players will need to enter their menu at the top of the screen and scroll over to AI Control sub-menu. This will give players access to a wide array of different control systems in their planes.

Players have three main systems that they can hand control over to the computer for. The first one is pre-flight checks, which means that the player won't have to deal with these checks before starting their flight. They can also check the box for managing comms, which means that the player is free to ignore any incoming calls since the AI will handle this as well. Finally for those who don't want to have to worry about dealing with their plan's controls can click the button for control aircraft. This completely puts the controls of the plane in the hands of the AI and allows the player to look around outside the plane without worrying about crashing into a mountain or building.

If players want to hop back behind the controls they can either go back into the menu and turn these options off or hold Ctrl + Alt + X to disable autopilot at any time.
