Tina and Dwight had almost no contact at the start of Tulsa King season 1. She ignored most of his attempts to reconcile initially and it wasn't until the death of Dwight's younger brother that the two finally spoke for the first time. When Dwight heard about what Nico did to Tina in Tulsa King season 1, the two finally opened up emotionally. Despite Tina and her family being in danger due to Dwight getting revenge on Nico, Tina and Dwight seemed to grow closer, with her frequently reaching out to him to update him. Ultimately, she decided to accept his offer to come to Tulsa with the kids, and this allows for Tina to play a much larger role in Dwight's business in Tulsa King season 2.

Why Tina Should Stay And Join Dwight's "Family"

With Dwight in custody, her family is not safe in New York. Without Dwight's protection, there may be nothing to stop Chickie from hurting her as he did her husband. From a safety point of view, it makes sense for her to stay in Tulsa, where she can keep things afloat by looking after Dwight's affairs. With his new bar/casino opening, everything is already set for her to join his new "family." With the ATF finally catching Tulsa King's Dwight, season 2 has the opportunity to highlight some other characters already introduced.

The dynamic between Tina and Dwight is one of the core storylines of Tulsa King, so it will be important to see how that can develop as the show continues. With Stacy being the root cause of Dwight's arrest, a rivalry could also be set up between her and Tina. Losing her father clearly caused Tina a lot of trauma, and she'll likely not want to go through that again.
