Arnold Schwarzenegger & Jamie Lee Curtis have True Lies reunion in new photo. Back in 1994, the duo became one of the hottest on screen couples when James Cameron’s True Lies hit theaters and dominated the summer box office.

The film followed the exploits of Harry Tasker (Schwarzenegger), a seemingly mild-mannered computer salesman who had allowed the spark to fade from his marriage to his wife Helen (Curtis). While Tasker’s home life left much to be desired, what his wife didn’t know was that he was leading a double life as a daring government secret agent, hot on the trail of stolen nuclear weapons and the gang of terrorists intent on using them. As Harry delved deeper into the case, the façade he’d created in order to avoid arousing suspicion from his wife began to crumble, as Helen mistakenly took Harry’s late night "work nights" and disinterest in her as signs that he was having an affair. Before long, Helen was caught up in trying to track down her husband and discover the truth, but the truth, as she discovered, is much more dangerous and complicated that she could ever have known.

It’s now been 25 years since Schwarzenegger and Curtis appeared on screen together and although they had great chemistry as husband and wife in True Lies, to date the duo have yet to star in any further feature films together. In fact, the two stars haven’t really even been seen together in public since True Lies. Now, however, the two friends posed for a photo together that comes to us via Curtis’ Instagram. After pointing out that the pair were together again for the first time, Curtis also hashtagged Harry and Helen as well as Boris and Doris - with the latter being the code names the two used as Helen became entangled in the world of espionage that True Lies highlighted. Naturally the first thought that will come to mind for many True Lies fans after seeing this photo is that perhaps the two are together again because True Lies 2 might be on its way. There has indeed been talk of a sequel over the course of the past 10 years, but these rumors have either been outright squashed by Cameron or fallen by the wayside as the veteran blockbuster director focuses all his creative energies on the gargantuan task of getting the four upcoming Avatar sequels up and running. That being said, not all hope is lost for a continuation of the concept, as a True Lies TV show based on the successful film has also been confirmed, though to date there is not a lot known about it.

Unfortunately for fans of True Lies and the pairing of Curtis and Schwarzenegger, Cameron has already stated that the Avatar universe is now his sole point of focus as a filmmaker. That’s great news if you happen to be one of the many people worldwide who love Avatar, but for those who just want to see Cameron focus on a variety of projects - like a True Lies sequel for instance - this photo just might be the closest we’ll get to seeing Curtis and Schwarzenegger together again.
