It seems Trista Stutter is feeling a little anxious ahead of Monday's episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever! Tonight Bachelor GOAT will be airing the condensed versions of the very first Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons.

Trista was named the first Bachelorette after coming in as runner-up on the first season of The Bachelor starring Alex Michel. At the end of her season, Trista accepted a proposal from Ryan Sutter and the two wed soon after. The couple is still together with two children today after 17 years of marriage. Fans most recently watched and reminisced moments from JoJo Fletcher’s season of the Bachelorette. Some elements may be different considering the almost 20-year time difference between now and then but the overall format will still be the same.

Trista expressed her concerns on Instagram two days ahead of the premiere. She wrote a short prayer to share with Bachelor nation, Please give me the sense of humor to laugh at my voice and my fashion sense, the ability to spread love when the haters come out of the woodwork, the grace to forgive myself (again) for any regrets or mistakes I made, and the intelligence to remember that it all worked out and I’m one lucky wife and mom,” she wrote. Fans expressed their love for Trista and the first Bachelorette season in the comments. Many said the first season was their favorite and none of the following seasons “hold a candle” to the original.

Earlier, Trista expressed her excitement for the season on Twitter: "When I was asked to be The Bachelorette, I hoped to find love, but never imagined that I'd also find a sisterhood. I may be old enough to be their mother but age differences aside, we are all bonded through a rare experience that has taken most of us on a journey to our life's destiny..and part of that destiny for me is the blessing of being Max and Blakesley's mother,” she said. Trista also expressed how happy she was to introduce her children to kind, intelligent, strong women who have helmed The Bachelorette in seasons following hers.

One of the reasons why some fans prefer Trista’s season is the higher emphasis on love and lower emphasis on drama. While no Bachelor or Bachelorette season is without drama, the likelihood contestants were there for clout and nefarious purposes weren’t as present. In 2003, social media wasn’t nearly as influential as it is now, the first iPhone (often regarded as the first modern smartphone) wasn’t even released until four years later. Bachelor nation members young and old can most certainly expect some fashion faux pas, out of date references, and heartfelt commentary from this episode of the Bachelor GOAT.
