Transformers 2 Casting Update: Jonah Hill & Teresa Palmer

What a world!

[UPDATE: Looks like Jonah Hill won't be involved in Transformers 2 after all. Thank goodness for small miracles, I guess.]

First, he's drawing pictures of penises as far as the eye can see. And now Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is in "early negotiations" to play Shia LaBeouf's sidekick in next summer's Transformers 2.

Early reports indicate Hill will play LaBeouf's college roomate - a crazed webmaster who runs a conspiracy theory site.

Director Michael Bay & Co. need comic-relief and Anthony Anderson is kinda busy; what with him on Law & Order and all - he's actually damn good on that show I might add.

And it appears Teresa Palmer has rebounded from the death of Justice League (i.e. concrete proof in the existence of God and that studio executives listen to fans.)

The Aussie actress (currently on Bedtimes Stories with Adam Sandler) will also join the cast.

I can only guess at this time she'll play a new love-interest for LaBeouf considering that Megan Fox (who's in the middle of filming Jennifer's Body) won't be returning.

Filming on the Transformers sequel begins this summer for a June 26, 2009 release.
