Many people are under the impression that cosplay is strictly reserved for those that are into anime. While this fandom is what skyrocketed the cosplay community, it's definitely not the only one. Cosplayers generally welcome crafter's of all shapes and sizes, meaning you can be a serious seamstress or a casual hobbyist. This list of Toy Story cosplayers is the perfect example of how cosplay is for everyone.

The famous Pixar film premiered in 1994, making its original viewers old enough to afford to indulge in this cosplay hobby (hey, it can get expensive). And since Pixar released yet another installment of our favorite toy heroes just last year, it makes sense that people are still just as invested in Woody and Buzz as much as they were 20 years ago. In honor of that passion, take a look at these 10 real-life Toy Story cosplayers!

Gabby Gabby

Gabby Gabby is the villainous doll who tries to steal Woody's voice box in Toy Story 4. She looks sweet and innocent with her strawberry blonde pigtails and yellow polka-dotted dress, but the movie shows us another side to this seemingly harmless toy.

The turbulent adventures that we see in this film led Toy Story 4 to win a 2020 Oscar for the Best Animated Picture. And cosplayer, Chrissy (or maybe that's Steph?) knew just how to celebrate. Disneytwincess is a dynamic pair of cosplaying twins. Chrissy and Steph are notorious for their Disney cosplays in particular. You can see for yourself in this uncanny Gabby Gabby cosplay!

You can also find Cinderella, Anna, Elsa, Ariel, and Belle included in their cosplay portfolio.

Pizza Planet Delivery Guy

Not all cosplays are what you expect. Cosplayers tend to march to the beat of their own drum. So what if Woody, Buzz, and Jesse are the main characters in this animated series? Is anyone really as iconic as the Pizza Planet delivery guy?

Iron Knight Cosplay is a North Virginian cosplayer who made all of our dreams come true with this cosplay. He has everything an actual pizza driver would have —  from the logo shoes and hat to the pizza boxes (how did he make those?!). Now if only Pizza Planet were a real pizzeria...

Green Army Man

The green army soldiers from Toy Story have been a popular Halloween costume over the past few years. So, naturally, it's a costume that people at conventions come to expect.

Leo is an Italian cosplayer who shows everyone what it takes to be a bonafide Green Army Soldier. It must have taken him days to paint his entire costume (and props), let alone the energy it takes to do a full-body paint! This is definitely a cosplay that would be fun to see in person!

Barbie

Barbie has had a lot of different looks, both on-screen and off. But it's her workout outfit from Toy Story 3 that most cosplayers like to recreate.

And Aline Lima makes the perfect Barbie! She has the full blue bodysuit, the colorful stripe legwarmers, and even Barbie's classic hot pink heels! This is one cosplay that would be really comfortable for those long convention days.

Sid

Remember Sid? Sid Phillips? Of course you do! Despite his concerning and somewhat narcissistic behavior, Sid is still a really interesting character! As the first villain in the Toy Story films, Sid is probably the source of some of our earliest childhood nightmares.

Which is exactly what makes him so fun to cosplay! Floeur Cosplay's short buzz cut, skeleton shirt, and magnifying glass sold the look on this character completely!

Bo Peep

Recently, audiences finally got to hear what happened to Bo Peep all those years ago when she made a reappearance in Toy Story 4. Her resurgence came complete with a new wardrobe— one that certainly couldn't be ignored by cosplayers.

Risa makes incredible handmade items, so we're willing to bet that this Bo Peep cosplay is one of her own. Everything from Bo's new facade is present, including a Giggle McDimples perched on her shoulder!

Slinky Dog

Slinky Dog is probably the character that would be the most difficult to turn into a cosplay. But somehow, some way, Sky managed to do it. Just take a look at her cosplay dress! Sky makes incredible works of art in the form of these unconventional fashion dresses.

Her Slinky Dog dress seems to defy gravity with its rigged skirt, which possesses the classic colors of the toy. Sky even made sure to include the "slink" in her original design and you can even spot a ringlet on her hat. Sky's dresses favor the Disney fandom, but she's a seamstress of many passions. We recommend taking a look at her Beauty and the Beast stained window dress and her Epcot "Ball" gown!

Jessie

This Toy Story cosplay lineup wouldn't be complete without Jessie. With her bold garments and bright red hat, Jessie is one costume that requires a lot of attention to detail.

Lau is a cosplayer and Disney fan who wears her Jessie garb with pride. From the bright red straw hair to the classic "Andy" signature on her cowboy boots, everything about this cosplay gives us nostalgia. Lau even plans on creating a Sherriff badge to go with her costume as a nod to the Toy Story 4 plot.

Buzz

Buzz Lightyear is another cosplay that is intimidating to make. He has a full-blown space ranger suit, after all. But Arizona-based cosplayer Vincent took his Buzz cosplay to infinity and beyond. This handmade suit comes with all the bells and whistles. He has buttons for his Star Commands and a laser beam, and it looks like he even has his space helmet in-tact.

The cool thing about Vincent's Buzz cosplay, in particular, is the way he weathered it so that Buzz looks like he's seen a few space battles. We expect this is what Buzz's space armor would look like after his afternoon with Sid.

Woody

French cosplayer "Sneak" has a few costumes that we commend, but his Woody costume is something truly special. His resemblance to the character is one thing, but he appears to have all the charisma that we would expect from a real-life Woody.

The hat, the belt, the Sherriff bade... this cosplayer has it all. He event crafted together his own Forky prop, which is something all Toy Story 4 fans are going to appreciate.
