Woody learning who he really is in Toy Story 2 is one of the central plots of the movie. He learns that he's from an iconic television show where he was the main star, and he gets to see an episode of it first hand within the movie.

It's something that sticks in the audience's heads rent-free, mainly because the music is so iconic with this one. It's a catchy beat that's impossible to get out of your head, and having the black and white footage only makes the scene even more memorable.

A Western Start (Toy Story 3)

Toy Story 3 Western scene

Something that this franchise does a brilliant job at is its opening scenes. In Toy Story 3, the movie kicks off with all of the characters in a Western scene. This is a moment that Andy did with his toys in his hand, but this version sees them living out that moment.

It instantly draws viewers in and seeing the characters in that world rather than the normal human one we expect is a ton of fun. It showcases how great the characters are and the over the top personalities that Andy gives them in this scenario are perfect. It places fans in Andy's imagination in the most vivid manner, making it a brilliant scene.

That's Falling With Style (Toy Story)

Toy Story falling with style scene

The original tension between Woody and Buzz Lightyear is something that makes for a lot of funny scenes in the original movie. They don't initially like each other and Woody's jealousy is something that really gets the best of him for a while.

When he pushes Buzz to prove that he can fly, it leads to him putting together an amazing scene with different toys and luck is on his side in a way that makes it appear that Buzz can fly. Of course, Woody denies it, claiming he's simply falling with style, which becomes one of his most iconic lines.

Fixing Woody (Toy Story 2)

The cleaner looks at Woody in Toy Story 2

In the grand scheme of things, this scene isn't one of major importance or noteworthy moments, but there is just something about it that has a calming effect. This scene sees Woody get patched up as Al needs him to be perfect to sell, and the cleaner really takes his time with all of it.

ASMR is something that has since boomed in pop culture, but this was ahead of its time in the way it made people feel. The details that are placed into this scene are brilliant, and that is something that makes this one so memorable.

The Cones (Toy Story 2)

The toys cross the street in Toy Story 2

The characters in this franchise might only be small toys, but they do go on some huge adventures. Heading out to Al's Toy Born is one of those adventures, and it creates an unforgettable scene that fans will never forget when they have to cross the busy road.

Of course, a bunch of toys cannot literally start walking across the street as that would be chaos. So instead, they all jump underneath a cone and cause problems with the traffic as they head across, which created an amazing visual.

Scaring Sid (Toy Story)

Sid is the greatest villain from the Toy Story franchise, as a psychotic young boy who loves to torture toys by blowing them up or stitching different pieces to other toys. However, when Woody and Buzz manage to get their revenge to escape, it creates an iconic scene.

With all of the toys Sid has tortured coming together to give Sid a taste of his own medicine, they create an amazing moment. It's almost like a horror scene as they spook Sid, showing him that toys are real, which changes his outlook on things.

Woody Leaves The Gang (Toy Story 4)

Something that Pixar does an amazing job at is injecting these movies with emotion, and one of the saddest, yet most impactful scenes is at the end of Toy Story 4. Woody makes the decision to leave the grouping order to start a new life for himself with Bo Peep, without an owner.

It creates an emotional moment as Woody has to say goodbye to the likes of Bullseye, Jessie, and of course, Buzz Lightyear himself. Seeing the two best friends who are built up like brothers to be leaving each other for good pulls on the heartstrings and sticks in the mind.

Joining Hands (Toy Story 3)

The toys accept their fate in the incinerator in Toy Story 3

Another emotional scene that fans remember takes place in Toy Story 3, when the toys are in the incinerator, seemingly about to be burnt. They all prepare for the worst and rather than panicking, they come together, holding hands facing the adversity as a group.

While they ultimately get saved by the Green Aliens, it does come close and the moment of them sticking together in the way they do is one that brings an enormous amount of emotion.

Mrs. Nesbitt (Toy Story)

Woody and Buzz as Mrs Nesbitt in Toy Story

Because Buzz Lightyear is normally so serious in the original movie, due to the fact he doesn't think he's a toy, the scene where he claims to be Mrs. Nesbitt ends up being a hilarious one. After he learns he can't fly and accepts his fate as a toy, Buzz completely changes.

In a hilarious tea party scene where Buzz acts like he's drunk, he proclaims himself to be Mrs. Nesbitt, refusing to listen to Woody. Because Buzz is played so straight up until that point, the scene ends up being one of the funniest within the franchise.

So Long, Partner (Toy Story 3)

Andy gives his toys to an off-screen Bonnie.

Who knew a scene about someone giving up their toys could create so much emotion? The final scene of Toy Story 3 where Andy gives up his toys as he heads off to start his life is an unbelievably upsetting one, but it's a scene that is put together so beautifully that it's impossible not to love.

People who grew up with these characters were particularly attached and felt emotional at Andy saying goodbye to them. Seeing him hand the toys to Bonnie, explaining why they're all so special is an amazing way to wrap up their story together.
