A new clip released from Toy Story 4 reintroduces fans of the franchise to Bo Peep. The Toy Story movies bring toys alive in a way that taps into kids' imaginations about what happens when toys are left alone, with the original story following the adventures of a boy named Andy and his two favorite toys: Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). Eventually, though, Andy grows up, and the toys fall into the hands of a new owner, a little girl named Bonnie.
According to Toy Story 4 plot details, the toys return, but things get turned upside down when a glorified spork named "Forky" (Tony Hale) gets tossed in with the other toys. Eventually, the toys all decide to take a trip to the outside world and end up at a carnival, which leads them to meet even more toys. They all go on a new adventure and learn what it means to be a toy. The movie will bring back Bo Peep (Annie Potts), who has been on her own adventures and displays a new outlook on life when she and Woody reunite. Bo even has a new look for the film, one that shows off her new attitude.
A new Toy Story 4 clip debuted on Good Morning America that reintroduces the world to Bo Peep. Although she still has her old costume on in this video, it shows that she's become a lot more pulled together with a new take-charge kind of attitude. In the clip, Bo Peep helps Woody and the other toys organize a mission, one that brings together the toys so that they can unlock a window to escape into the world. The clip also shows that Bo's sheep have names, although no one ever bothered to ask about that previously.
Although the voice of Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles) passed away in 2017, the character will return in Toy Story 4. A recently leaked cast list could hint at who will take over the role: Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks or Alan Oppenheimer. Although there is no confirmation of what characters these three actors are portraying, one of them could take over for Mr. Potato Head. There are also reports that actresses Betty White and Carol Burnett will voice characters in the film.
Allen recently took to Twitter recently to announce that he had finished recording dialogue for Toy Story 4, mentioning that it was an emotional moment for him. Hanks stated something similar when he finished his work on the movie, too. It's likely that fans will need to bring plenty of tissues because if Toy Story 4 is anything like its predecessors, there won't be a dry eye left in the theater by the end of the film.
