In a new teaser and poster, Bo Peep returns in Toy Story 4 with a new look and attitude. Toy Story 4 is the long-awaited sequel in the popular franchise that began in 1995. The first film introduced the world to Andy, a little boy with a lot of toys that come alive when humans aren't around. The film, which followed the adventures of the toys, was a massive success for Pixar and Disney.
Now, two sequels and 24 years later, Disney will release Toy Story 4 this summer. The new film will pick up where Toy Story left off after a grown-up Andy gives Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen) and his other toys to a little girl named Bonnie. According to new plot details, everything goes haywire after a spork called Forky (Tony Hale) gets thrown in with the other toys. The new toys decide to go on an adventure to the outside world that takes them to a carnival where they meet other toys. Whatever happens after that, there are bound to be some moments that tug on the heartstrings, as in previous films, especially with Hanks recently admitting his final lines as Woody in the movie made him emotional.

Another toy set to return in Toy Story 4 is Bo Peep (Annie Potts). But Bo has gone on adventures of her own and has, apparently, seen some things, because she comes back to the franchise with a new look and a new attitude. Although a leaked photo from the movie previously surfaced of Bo Peep in Toy Story 4, Disney released a poster and teaser officially showing off the character's new look.
Further, Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley discussed the reason for this change with Bo and talked about how she and Woody will come into each other's lives again.
“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny. While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”
It has been nine years since the release of Toy Story 3, but Pixar delayed production when it decided to throw out the original script and start over. The final result is a movie that will focus on the next chapter of Woody's life, one that shows him moving on from Andy and moving forward with his new owner, Bonnie. Will the wait be worth it? Disney fans continue to show interest in the franchise, but the real test will happen when the movie releases this summer. Until then, it remains to be seen if Toy Story 4 will score big at the box office in a year with so many other big releases.
