Toy Story 3 Characters: Meet All The New Toys

toy story 3 new characters toys disney pixar

The theatrical release of Toy Story 3 is just around the corner and there are a bunch of new toys in the toy box. Pixar is the reigning king when it comes to detailed CGI animation and their first Toy Story really showed that mainstream audiences were ready to soak in as much of it as they could.

Today we have a handy guide to all fourteen new characters in Toy Story 3 for you to enjoy. Check out all of them then let us know what you think in the comments section.

Toy Story 1 came out in 1995 and enjoyed a very successful run at the box office, both critically and financially, to the tune of $362 million worldwide. Four years later, the “toys were back in town” with Toy Story 2 and they brought along a few new characters with them. Again, Toy Story 2 basked in a glowing worldwide box office success of $485 million. There was no doubt about the popularity of the franchise, as it spawned numerous toy tie-ins, video games, cartoons and even a specialized high-tech ride at the Disney theme park.

The toys were so popular that Disney/Pixar decided to re-release both films in converted 3D, but that only brought in a measly $31 million. It’s ok though, because Toy Story 3 comes out to play this summer and I have no doubt that it will easily knock down the $485 million mark set by its older sibling (of course higher 3D ticket prices will play a big part in that).

So, without further ado, I'll introduce you to the new characters featured in Toy Story 3:

Toy Story 3 Lots-'o-Huggin' Bear

Lots-o’Huggin’ Bear is a jumbo, extra-soft teddy bear with a pink and white plush body and a velvety purple nose. This lovable bear stands fuzzy heads and shoulders above other teddy bears because he smells like sweet strawberries! With a smile that will light up your child’s face and a belly just asking to be hugged, Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear is sure to become a bedtime necessity. Stain-resistant. Spot clean plush surface with a damp cloth.
