A Toy Story 2 fan has recreated one of the Pixar movie's most satisfying scenes involving Woody in real life. Despite having a rough production, including the entire movie being deleted, Toy Story 2 premiered in 1999, four years after its predecessor. Although Toy Story 2 wasn't as well-received as the original, which made history for being the first fully computer-animated film, the sequel did well at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing animated film in 1999, and helped pave the way for two more sequels.

Before the toys ended up with Bonnie, however, Toy Story 2 revolved around Buzz, Slinky, Hamm, Rex, and Mr. Potato Head rescuing Woody after he is accidentally put in Andy's mom's yard sale and stolen by Al McWhiggin, a toy collector and owner of Al's Toy Barn. To prepare Woody for a photo shoot with the rest of Woody's Roundup (Stinky Pete, Bullseye, and Jesse), Big Al hires an antique cleaner to restore the collectible cowboy doll after he accidentally rips the toy's arm off. The scene shows the cleaner polishing Woody's eyes, cleaning his ears, spray painting blush marks on his face, giving Woody a new coat of paint on his hair, polishing/painting his boots, and most importantly, stitching his arm back on.

Americascobbler on TikTok restores old shoes as his username suggests, but he had a bit of fun after a fan commented that his job allows him to live the satisfying scene from Toy Story 2 every day. The cobbler recreates the events with an actually Woody doll, restoring him to a like-new condition just as the cleaner does in the Pixar movie. Americascobbler even stitches his arm back together before putting Woody in his display case.

The cleaner scene from Toy Story 2 was not only satisfying to watch but also a pivotal point in the movie since it was one of the ways Woody was drifting away from Andy. Woody had previously been proud to have Andy's name at the bottom of his boot yet wasn't bothered when the cleaner painted over it. And for a good chunk of the movie, Woody was even considering going to a museum with the other members of Woody's Roundup despite Buzz and the gang coming to rescue him. The sequel may not have been as well-received as the original; however, there's no denying it was an emotional film, especially given Jesse's backstory about her owner leaving her in a donation box on the side of the road. Toy Story 3 arguably has the most emotional scene of the entire franchise when Andy moves to college and gives his toys to Bonnie, but like most Pixar films, Toy Story 2 was able to pull at the heartstrings of its audience.

The idea of Woody wanting to venture out to see the world was revisited in Toy Story 4, with the sequel ending with Woody leaving his friends to live his life with Bo-Peep, who both help lost toys find owners. While that storyline hadn't even been thought of in 1999, Toy Story 2 still provided some of the series' most memorable scenes. Toy Story remains one of Disney's most popular franchises, which is evident by fan art and videos like the one above. Fan response is also a huge reason why the Toy Story series is still going strong, with the Buzz Lightyear spinoff hitting theaters this month. It's unknown if Woody will get a similar type of spinoff, but at least fans have plenty of memorable Woody scenes to reminisce on if that doesn't happen.
