Star of Too Hot to Handle Harry Jowsey opened up about his split from co-star Francesca Farago in a YouTube video posted to his channel. The pair had an on-off again relationship after the show wrapped filming.
Farago and Jowsey were one of the most contentious couples throughout the show’s first season. Jowsey was immediately drawn to Farago but their brief relationship ended after Jowsey lied to the men about Farago initiating a kiss. Soon after, the pair coupled up again leading to many more reductions from the cash prize. By the end of the season, the infractions cost a total of $32,000, more than any other players.
Jowsey uploaded the video after Farago announced the breakup in her own video. She was noticeably heartbroken and explained how she expected to marry Jowsey. Jowsey explained how he could no longer handle the long distance, but he would always love Farago. The two kept their relationship secret after the show finished filming and bonded over the shared experience they had which no one else could relate to. Jowsey said you could see how much he cared about her on the show: “What we had is like nothing I’ve ever had before I was so infatuated by her,” he explained.
After Jowsey went through a difficult portion of his life following filming, the couple split. During this time Jowsey had two serious relationships. After he moved to Los Angeles, he began talking to a girl back in Sydney, Australia, and even considered moving back to Sydney to be with her. He also dated Too Hot to Handle co-star Madison Wyborny for a few months after Wyborny began searching for apartments in Los Angeles. Jowsey rekindled his romance with Farago after he texted her on New Year’s Eve that he missed her while he was drunk. “I remember holding her waist and I could feel her heartbeat in her stomach and I could feel how much she still loved me and I just didn’t have that feeling anymore,” he explained.
While the news might’ve come as a shock to fans as the pair seemed to be happily in love last month, it seems the pair were having trouble long before their split. Jowsey described how he experienced “the highest highs” while he was with Farago. But when he was down, he was sadder than he’d ever been. Two opposite extremes can’t sustain a healthy relationship and Jowsey must have realized this. He also explained the two hadn’t built a solid foundation on friendship before they started their relationship. If Jowsey is speaking the truth when he says he still has love for Farago they may reconnect after they both endure personal growth. But with the wounds from two messy breakups, this seems unlikely.
