Gerrie Labuschagne came into Too Hot To Handle in episode 6 and immediately drew both the women and fans in with his charm. Despite coming into the show so close to the end, Gerrie seemed to have formed a genuine connection with Georgia Hassarati. Since Too Hot To Handle season 3 premiered, news came out about Gerrie's previous relationship that proves he may not have been on the show for all the right reasons. Here is everything to know about Gerrie and what he has been up to since the show ended.

Too Hot To Handle season 3 followed a brand new cast of singles who were tasked with forming emotional, rather than purely physical connections. They got off to a rocky start, with Lana doubling the prize of each rule break in the second episode. In one night alone, the cast lost $42,000, but a few cast members learned their lesson. While other couples like Harry Johnson and Beaux Raymond kept improving their relationship, Gerrie had a tougher time as a late comer on the show.

Gerrie (pronounced more like Harry) is one of the older cast members on Too Hot To Handle at 26 years old. The self-described lion and marshmallow of a man stands at 6-foot-4. He is a native South African and a professional rugby player. Back in November 2020, Gerrie announced that he had sustained several head injuries during his seven year professional rugby career. On his Instagram, @gerrie_labuschagne, he said that this meant he was retiring from playing rugby as a winger.

Gerrie appears to be getting back in the game, as he signed with the Houston SaberCats for the 2022 season. In addition to playing rugby, Gerrie also has his own fitness company and works as a personal coach. He creates specialized nutrition and gym programs for his clients. Gerrie is all about staying active, and he also has some hidden musical talents, as he has dabbled in singing live in a couple of his Instagram Stories.

Gerrie was attracted to Australian 26-year-old Georgia from the start, and seemed ready to pursue something serious, though she was not ready for a relationship with him. The pair ultimately left Too Hot To Handle separately, but there does not appear to be any hard feelings between the pair. They have commented on each other's posts and seem to be supporting each other after leaving Turks and Caicos.

However, after the show aired, it was revealed that Gerrie's intentions may have just been to get famous rather than form a real connection. After Too Hot To Handle premiered, Gerrie's ex girlfriend of two years, Whitney Williams of Big Brother season 23, revealed that he had proposed to her in November 2020. The pair did not go through with the engagement and a few weeks later, Gerrie went to film the reality show, where he seemed to be all in for Georgia.
