Too Hot to Handle Season 1 Netflix Harry Francesca

How close were Francesca and Harry to touching one another during their last night in the chastity suite on Too Hot To Handle? Francesca revealed to Screen Rant what the audience didn't see during that penultimate evening.

Francesca and Harry are still together, more than a year since their show started filming. They had one of the strongest connections on the retreat, along with Sharron and Rhonda. Since SharRhonda are currently not dating, Francesca and Harry are one of the only couples from the show currently dating. Francesca said it's been hard dating Harry since the show wrapped up. They had taken a brief break during a time, and now, living in different countries, their relationship remains a "massive test."  But they have agreed to move in together once coronavirus quarantine is over. They have even gotten matching tattoos.

During the last night together, as a final twist, Francesca and Harry were invited back into the chastity suite with one caveat: no touching whatsoever. The rest of their cast didn't have faith in the international lovers, sensing there was no way they'd be able to keep their hands off one another. Francesca tells Screen Rant they had joked about forgoing Lana's ultimatum and touching each other anyway. But then Francesca realized that would be selfish.

Francesca said, "We kind of had other people's emotions and other people's feelings in the back of our mind, and we wanted to prove to the group that our connection was strong." To pass the time without getting physical, they played hide and seek. Francesca stuffed herself in a drawer. Harry tied himself to a chair. Francesca said, "It was difficult, but it was easy because we both knew that we've already broken enough rules." When they reemerged the next morning and told the rest of their cast they had followed the rules, the remaining contestants were stunned. The one night of abstaining from touching revived the prize money to $75,000. It seemed like a sizable reward, until it was announced that it would be split 10 ways between everyone.

While it wasn't always clear on the show, Francesca said she and Harry learned lessons from their time on the retreat, prioritizing emotional connections over physical intimacy. It has prepared them for the current situation, when they are unable to rely on touching one another to strengthen their bond. If they can make it through being separated from quarantine, they have a good chance at lasting a long while as a couple.
