Francesca from Too Hot To Handle told Screen Rant that Haley is not a negative person. The edit simply portrayed her as being a pessimistic person.
The dynamic between Francesca and Haley was a fun one. They were close friends for the first half of Too Hot To Handle, before Haley was sent home by Lana for not embracing the process. She and Francesca kissed and tried to deflect blame and throw it onto Sharron and Rhonda. This was during the time when Francesca and Harry were not together. Haley sounded at times like she had a crush on Francesca, and she was clear about how she was not a fan of Harry. Francesca told me, that her kisses with Harry was better than her kiss with Haley, because there was more feeling behind her kiss with Harry. Even though her stay at the retreat was short-lived, Haley was a perfect casting choice. She talked about her sorority and had some crazy one-liners that truly made her the most entertaining character on the cast.
In her interview with Screen Rant, Francesca called Haley "savage." Francesca confirmed that Haley didn't really like anyone on the cast, except for her, of course. But Francesca also added, "She actually isn't a negative person. I think when you're so alienated from the group, and people just aren't your number one fan, it's easy to be negative towards them." Francesca said she felt a little ostracized from the other women right off the bat, and Haley was one of the only women who was welcoming towards her.
Haley did not want to be there, Francesca made clear. That was obvious on the show. Her parting with Lana seemed a mutual decision. There was a "nice side" we didn't get to see from Haley, Francesca said. The two talk every day now.
While Francesca was the biggest star of the show, Haley may be most likely to appear on another show because everything she said about everyone else was so hilarious. Francesca said she might be done with reality TV for now, which is fine because she has millions of Instagram followers now. Haley, on the other hand, could find a show that she wants to be a part of for the entire run. That might be hard to find, considering the fact that they would need to find a cast that Haley actually wants to hang out with.
