Now that they’re officially a couple, the fans of the show can’t help but notice the similarities between Carly & Joey and season 1 couple Harry Jowsey & Francesca Farago.

During Too Hot To Handle season 1, Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago became the biggest stars of the show. Alas, there were lots of ups and downs throughout their relationship. Unfortunately, they broke up in the end. Similar to Harry and Francesca, Carly Lawrence and Joey Joy became one of the star couples of season 2. Moreover, there are a ton of similarities between the two couples, and it is entirely possible that Carly and Joey will have the same fate that Harry and Francesca experienced.
For starters, both couples met and began dating while filming Too Hot To Handle. The ambiance of the show definitely impacted their decisions to enter a relationship because they’re encouraged to form real connections as opposed to just hooking up. After their respective seasons ended, Harry and Francesca decided to keep dating, as did Carly and Joey. Shortly after the show ended, both couples experienced a break-up, then got back together. In general, they have all participated in a lot of on and offs in their relationships, which is often considered to be the start of a toxic dynamic.
Amidst the ups and downs, both couples got matching finger tattoos. Back then, Harry and Francesca got lightning bolts on their index fingers to represent their experience together. So far, there are a ton of similarities between Carly and Joey’s relationship and Harry and Francesca’s romance. For this reason, these Too Hot To Handle season 2 stars could have the same fate as Harry and Francesca. Carly and Joey have already broken up and gotten back together once. If they have even more ups and downs, they may end up in a toxic dynamic like Harry and Francesca did in the past, inevitably ending their relationship. With that said, only time will tell what the fate of Joey and Carly is.
