RECRUITING PETER INTO THE MCU
In the MCU, the relationship between Tony and Peter has been one of the most adorable. Tony quickly became a mentor that Peter looked up to, and Tony was always worried about him and trying to keep him safe. In Captain America: Civil War, Tony recruits Peter for help. He is clearly impressed by Peter’s abilities and intellect, and Peter is rightfully excited to get a chance to help Iron Man out.
WHEN HE TALKED ABOUT HIS WEDDING IN INFINITY WAR
Pepper and Tony have had a bit of a rough go at various times in the MCU. While their relationship has its ups and downs, mainly because Tony struggled to deal with his own issues, they finally make it work.
When we see the pair in Avengers: Infinity War, Tony is clearly excited about the upcoming wedding, and he even keeps inviting everyone he knows to attend. It’s great to see him being so excited and ready for this step.
WHEN HE GAVE HARLEY HIS OWN PERSONAL LAB
Tony Stark might have issues with his own father, but he’s definitely had many instances in the MCU where he clearly wanted to be one. While he eventually gets to be a father for real, he’s also a mentor to many other young people.
Harley helps Tony out in many ways, and it’s an adorable moment to see Tony look out for this kid by supplying him with tech and equipment. Tony definitely likes to show people he cares about them by buying them things.
WHEN HE 'KNIGHTED' PETER INTO THE AVENGERS
Tony is always trying to look out for other superheroes. It’s clear that he takes their safety on his own shoulders and worries about their fates. This is the most apparent when it comes to Spider-Man.
Tony definitely didn’t want Peter going into space in Infinity War, but when Peter snuck on the spaceship anyway, we get this adorable moment. It clearly meant a lot to Peter to be considered officially one of the Avengers and to have Tony be the one to give him that approval.
HIS FIRST KISS WITH PEPPER
While a relationship between Pepper and Tony starts to develop in Iron Man, it’s not until Iron Man 2 that they share their first kiss. It’s clear that Paper looks out for Tony in many ways, and thankfully Tony grow to appreciate all that she does for him and Stark Industries with time. Their first kiss is definitely a moment that fans should root for.
HIS DORKY DANCE IN IRON MAN 3
While Tony might like to express an image as a cool rich guy, he definitely has a lot of moments where he’s a bit dorky. This side of him is pretty cute and fun, and this is most apparent in Iron Man 3 when he puts on a record that’s playing “Jingle Bells” and does a dorky dance in his lab. It’s great to see this more private side of Tony when he isn’t worried about the Iron Man persona.
IN ENDGAME WHEN HE AND STEVE WERE ABLE TO TRUST EACH OTHER AGAIN
The relationship between Captain America and Iron Man in the MCU is one that has a lot of issues, but in the end, these two end up being friends. While they don’t always get along, they often need each other in order to save the world. After the heartbreaking split in Civil War, seeing these two work together and trust each other again was definitely a moment that fans could get excited about.
LOOKING OUT FOR SPIDER-MAN BY CREATING HIM BETTER AND BETTER SUITS
Tony likes to look out for the people he cares about by providing tech and suits for them. This is especially apparent when it comes to Peter Parker. Tony designs a suit for him first in Civil War and then provides a significant upgrade to the suit in Avengers: Endgame. Clearly, it’s important for Tony to keep Peter safe, and this is why it’s so devastating when Peter gets snapped.
WHEN WE FIRST SEE HIM INTERACT WITH MORGAN
The MCU has been dropping hints that Tony wanted to be a dad for a while now, especially in Infinity War. So, when the time jump happens and we see Tony five years after The Snap, it’s rewarding to see him finally get to be a father.
The first scene where we see him interact with Morgan as she plays with Pepper’s Rescue suit is extremely adorable and shows how much Tony is invested in his family.
I LOVE YOU 3000
This is definitely the most heartwarming moment that Tony has in the entire MCU. Of course, it’s Morgan who says this line to her father, but seeing how happy Tony is to hear it is super sweet. In line with his personality, he also has to tease Pepper a little bit about Morgan loving him more than her, which is a pretty heartwarming moment, too.
It’s pretty heartbreaking that Tony won’t be there to see his daughter grow up, but this moment will always have fans feeling happy.
