With half the world’s population gone and the universe in shambles, the remaining superheroes must discover a way to undo the catastrophic event.

Tom Holland will appear as Peter Parker/Spider-Man once again, though it’s unclear if this will be in flashbacks or as a result of the remaining Avengers’ efforts in restoring the timeline prior to Thanos’s impact, given Peter was an unfortunate victim.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (2018)

The epic lead-up to the Avengers facing off against the Mad Titan Thanos, Avengers: Infinity War saw the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and many other allies come together to prevent him from gathering the Infinity Stones.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING (2017)

Avengers Movies In Chronological Order

The typical origin story of Spider-Man is eschewed in favor of documenting the life of a teenage superhero that’s already been keeping criminals off the streets of New York City. Tom Holland is the breakout star of Spider-Man: Homecoming, giving vibrancy and energy to the role of Peter Parker and charisma to his alter ego Spider-Man.

Spider-Man had already been seen briefly in Captain America: Civil War, where Holland impressed audiences with his spunk alongside established Marvel actors like Iron Man’s Robert Downey Jr. and Captain America’s Chris Evans.

THE LOST CITY OF Z (2016)

Unfulfilled with a life of complacency, war hero and explorer Percy Fawcett sets out to the Amazon in the '20s to find the infamous "Zed" kingdom in The Lost City of Z, a sort of El Dorado paradise among men with an advanced civilization. Ridiculed by the scientific community of the time, he nevertheless continues to go back, eventually taking his eldest son on his last expedition.

Charlie Hunnam plays Percy Fawcett, and Tom Holland plays his eldest son. The two go on an exhibition to the lost city in 1925, and are never seen again.

EDGE OF WINTER (2016)

What begins as a seemingly innocent family outing turns nightmarish when a father and his two sons are trapped by nightfall and harsh weather conditions in the remote wilderness. While it may seem like their best bet for survival is remaining together in a small log cabin, the boys quickly learn that their protector may be their biggest threat.

Tom Holland plays the eldest son in Edge of Winter, Bradley Baker, to Joel Kinnaman’s Elliot Baker, a father whose unpredictable temper jeopardizes him and his brother Caleb’s survival.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (2016)

Spider-Man in Captain America Civil War

The third installment in the Captain America series of films, Captain America: Civil War shows what happens to the Avengers when the government calls for sanctions on their powers. Tony Stark/Iron Man believes in regulations, whereas Steve Rogers/Captain America sees them as an infringement on civil liberty.

Caught in the middle of it all is newcomer Peter Parker/Spider-Man, hopeful Avenger and admirer of Tony Stark. Tom Holland left his mark on the film, even in a small supporting role, and got his feature film debut soon after in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

IN THE HEART Of THE SEA (2015)

In The Heart Of The Sea

Whereas the seaman Ishmael famously recounted the story of the Great White Whale, Moby Dick, Owen Chase (Chris Hemsworth) is the protagonist that takes on a similar leviathan in In the Heart of the Sea, about the whaling ship Essex being assaulted off the coast of New England by a giant whale.

Tom Holland stars with his Avengers: Infinity War co-star Chris Hemsworth as Thomas Nickerson, an orphaned boy who serves as a ship’s mate on the Essex and tries to stay alive amidst raging storms, starvation, and whale attacks.
