Actors Tom Holland and Chris Pratt want to host a Dungeons & Dragons game with the cast of The Avengers. Holland and Pratt are two of the biggest stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Holland is best known for his portrayal of Spider-Man in the MCU, and former Parks & Rec star Chris Pratt portrays Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. The two Marvel actors also star together in the new Disney Pixar movie Onward.

Dungeons & Dragons is an immensely popular fantasy tabletop role-playing game. It was first released in 1974 and remains both popular and relevant even today. Since its creation, the game has been adapted into video games and cartoons. Dungeons & Dragons has even been adapted into movies, though the movies were critically panned. There's a long list of celebrities who are open about playing D&D, including but not limited to stars such as Stephen Colbert, Jon Favreau, Matt Groening, Joe Manganiello, James Franco, Kevin Smith, and Steven Spielberg.

During Disney Pixar's Onward world premiere, Tom Holland spoke to IGN, and the publication asked Holland if he had ever played Dungeons & Dragons. In response, Holland shared, "I haven't, no, but Chris and I have been talking about setting up an Avengers D&D session." He followed up by stating, "Which would be amazing. We actually want to like film it, because it would be really fun. Not livestream it, because I don't do...is this live? It is live! Oh ok, I'm really stressed now."

Holland and Pratt have been on the press tour for Onward over the weeks leading up to the movie's premiere. The two recently made an appearance together on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Both of them have a long list of new projects in the works. Holland will be in the upcoming Uncharted movie, based on the popular video game. Pratt will appear in Jurassic World 3 and reprise his role from the two previous installments. He'll be joined by several actors from the original series of films, including Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

Whether or not The Avengers end up playing D&D, it's an extremely exciting concept nevertheless. While viewers may not see the same Avengers line up again in the MCU, it would be great to see the actors together once more. The Russo brothers, who directed the final two Avengers movies, are also Dungeons & Dragons players and could be included in this game. It would be fun to see who would play the role of Dungeon Master. Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. naturally come to mind as candidates, due to their characters' central roles in the MCU, but only time will tell.
