Tom Hanks has posted another update stating that his symptoms haven't fluctuated since being the first celebrity diagnosed with the coronavirus. Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, were diagnosed last Wednesday while he was in Australia filming the untitled Elvis biopic along with Austin Butler, Olivia DeJonge, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Rufus Sewell. None of the other cast members have tested positive for the virus. Upon diagnosis, Hanks and Wilson were admitted to a hospital in Queensland.

Hanks has been vigilantly informing his fans on the status of his condition over social media. Most recently, Hanks informed fans via Twitter that he is not feeling any worse but certainly not feeling better one week after testing positive. He managed to keep the tone of his post light, referring to his symptoms as "the blahs." He also shared that he has been spending his quarantine playing Gin Rummy with his wife (and losing badly), perfecting his Vegemite spreading skills, and logging his chronicles on his beloved typewriter. He also ended his tweet on a positive note, reminding fans that fighting this virus is a group effort.

Hanks initially announced his coronavirus diagnosis over social media. He tweeted that he and Wilson tested positive after showing symptoms like colds, chills, and slight fevers, followed by a picture of himself and Wilson in quarantine. The two posted updates from the hospital with Wilson sharing a "Quarantunes" playlist and Hanks thanking his "helpers" at the hospital. Hanks and Wilson were released from the hospital yesterday and are currently renting a home in Australia to spend the rest of their quarantine in.
