Chrisley Knows Best's stars, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are speaking out about their estranged daughter, Lindsie Chrisley's Dr. Phil interview this past week. The rep for the Chrisleys claims that everything spoke in that interview were lies and have screenshots to prove it.

The Chrisleys have been in the headlines with a storm of legal and familial issues over the last few months since being indicted on 12 charges, which included charges of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. They had been accused of owing more than $2.1 million in unpaid state taxes between 2008 and 2016. On September 27th, the Georgia Department of Revenue looked at all of the evidence and agreed on a settlement for $150,000 of the $2.1 million owed. Since news of the indictment, estranged daughter, Lindsie Chrisley, went to the police to report that her father and her brother, Chase Chrisley, attempted to extort her into lying for them by threatening her with an alleged sex tape that she claimed her brother purchased alongside nude photos of her. In response to that coming out in the media, Todd not only denied the claims but revealed the names of his daughter's lovers from her alleged extramarital affairs.

In the recent interview with Dr. Phil, Lindsie explained that she met with her estranged father for dinner, expecting an apology for things that have happened in the past. She said that instead, her father informed her of his incitement and began accusing her of meeting with a tax investigator, Georgia Department of Revenue's Office of Special Investigations - Joshua Waites, at a Starbucks. Lindsie denied ever meeting the individual, but she said that her father didn't believe her. According to Lindsie, her father insisted that there was an affair going on, but she denied it. Lindsie revealed that is when her father told her about the "incriminating evidence" he has against her, which she claimed included nude photos and a sex tape. But she still maintains she had nothing to do with the fact that her family was indicted. Still, Todd and Julie are suing Waites for reportedly abusing their power and violating laws.

Lindsie, Todd, and Julie Chrisley

The Chrisleys' rep spoke to ET Online on behalf of Todd and Julie Chrisley to tell their side of the story. Their statement reads, "Lindsie Chrisley made false statements with regards to not only her involvement with Todd and Julie Chrisley's tax situation but also with Joshua Waites from the Georgia Department of Revenue and also that she was threatened and coerced to make them." The statement goes on to allege that Lindsie "gave a deposition to Todd Chrisley's lawyers on her own violation," meaning that on June 8th she "willingly handed over a multitude of text messages," just a day after she alleged that she was extorted by Todd on June 7th. The statement revealed that the text messages handed over by Lindsie "spanned over an 18-month period between her and Joshua Waites, which clearly signifies a long-term relationship." The statement continues, "By the nature of the text messages, it's clear that she was a willing participant in providing information. For example, in one text she says, 'So they are shutting it down,' in reference to the Chrisley Knows Best USA reality show that she was fired from... This shows her whole motivation and goal in working with Joshua Waites and the GDOR."

In the statement, it also reveals that they will be using Lindsie's disposition in the case against Waites and that they do not wish to sue Lindise as she's their witness. It remains to be seen how all of this family drama plays out and what happens to their show Chrisley Knows Best. On top of all of this, the Chrisleys still face federal charges that could land them in prison.
