"I'm Gonna Miss You A Twelve, Lara Jean"

To All The Boys Kitty Song-Covey

None of the interesting things would have happened to Lara Jean if it wasn't for her fireball of a baby sister, Kitty. It was she who'd sent out Lara Jean's secret love letters in the first place. Kitty is undoubtedly the real MVP of the To All The Boys movies. She's always meant well and, in the process, rooted for her sister.

With Lara Jean's college approaching fast, she asks Kitty how much she'd miss her on a scale of 1-10. Disappointed to learn it's a 4, Lara Jean shuts the door in her little sister's face. But towards the end of the movie, Kitty admits she will miss her older sister a 12 out of 10 and the two warmly embrace.

"Katherine Song-Covey Has Discovered Boys. God Help 'em."

As she tries to strike up a conversation, the Coveys mushily watch over her. Knowing his feisty little daughter has started to crush on a boy, Dr. Dan Covey jokingly wishes the best for the young man and all of her future crushes!

"But Maybe Love Is Actually About The Moments When You Think No One Is Watching."

"In movies, love is all about the big moments. Grand speeches made in front of everyone, 'marry me' written on the jumbotron," her voice says. She concludes love is actually about two people in their comfort bubble making promises to each other when no one is watching.

"You Can't Save This Relationship By Not Growing."

Lara Jean's father Dr. Dan Covey

Once again, Lara Jean's dad gives her sage advice in To All the Boys 3 movie. He nudges her towards staying true to herself, in other words, advising her to not let her relationship affect her education.

"Listen, Lara Jean, you gotta stay true to yourself," Dr. Dan Covey says. Dan strongly tells his daughter proximity is not the most important thing in a relationship. In his opinion, a good relationship should have space, too.

"I Wish We Had A Meet-Cute."

Peter Kavinsky And Lara Jean meet-cute

After the girls are back from their vacation, Lara Jean narrates how Kitty met a boy back at the love locks to Peter. She describes their meeting as "such a good meet-cute." Confused, Peter immediately asks her, "What's a meet-cute?"

"A meet-cute is when a couple meets for the first time. It's always cute, and that is how you know they are gonna end up together," explains Lara Jean. She wishes she and Peter had a meet-cute because it is significant in romantic relationships in movies and TV shows. Ultimately, the viewers find out these two had a pretty adorable one.

By the end of the movie, Lara Jean's wish is granted. Turns out, the couple really does have a meet-cute which goes back to the sixth-grade assembly when Lara Jean was called upon stage to receive an attendance award. Peter vividly describes the first time he met Lara Jean in her high school yearbook.

"It was sixth-grade assembly. You were sitting in the row in front of me, and your name was written on your backpack in glittery letters. Principal Cho called you up on stage to receive an attendance award, and your hair got caught in your chair. I helped you untangle it, and you smiled at me. My heart did a somersault in my chest. I didn’t know hearts could do that." Lara Jean and Peter's adorable meet-cute sure made their fans' hearts melt.

"It Won’t Always Be Easy, But I Want To Do Whatever It Takes To Make This Work. Because That’s What You Do When You Love Someone."

Peter further gushes over Lara Jean in the yearbook saying is lucky to have her. He encourages her to pursue her dreams and attend NYU. Even though they'll be 3,000 miles away, he promises to do whatever it takes to make their relationship work because he truly loves her.

Peter's romantic gesture ends with him asking Lara Jean to consider his letter as a new contract to stay together forever. Lara Jean is more than delighted to join him on their new adventure.

"But I Do Know That Love, Real Love, Is Choosing Each Other Through All Of It, Every Single Day. Beginning, Middle, And End."

And besides, you know one thing 3,000 miles is good for? Writing love letters,” says Lara Jean in the final moments of the film.
