To All the Boys: Always and Forever's soundtrack includes nearly 50 songs during the movie's 115-minute runtime. Overall, most of the tracks are pop rock party-starters; however, there's an occasional throwback anthem and even an Oasis classic. From scene to scene, the selected music is a driving force in the 2021 Netflix film.

Directed by Michael Fimognari, To All the Boys: Always and Forever marks the third and final installment of the To All The Boys trilogy. Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) plans to attend Stanford University with her beau, Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), but must change her plans after not being accepted. Then, during a school trip to New York City, Lara Jean realizes that she just may be in love with the Big Apple. Naturally, this comes as a surprise to Peter, who urges his girlfriend to consider a transfer to Stanford after her first year of college. To All the Boys: Always and Forever is based on the 2017 novel by Jenny Han, who makes a cameo in Netflix adaptation.

Many romantic comedies have a prominent score, but there's little time for Lara Jean to reflect in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, as she's constantly on-the-go. From South Korea to California, to NYC, she has a lot going on in her life, and so the steady amount of music keeps the narrative moving along swiftly. Noah Centineo in To All the Boys: Always and Forever on Netflix

During an opening dream sequence in To All the Boys: Always and Forever, "Wannabe" plays as Lara Jean imagines her ideal life at Stanford. The song plays again just over 10 minutes later when Condor's character receives some bad news. "I Like Me Better (Ryan Riback Remix)" scores a scene when Lara Jean and company arrive in New York, and "Warm Glow" plays as Lara Jean and Peter brainstorm about a possible transfer plan.

Both "17" and "Beginning Middle End" set in during an NYC party sequence, while "Run for Your Money" establishes the mood for a dance scene. At the 58-minute mark in the Netflix movie, "Highway" correlates with some good news that Lara Jean receives, and the Oasis classic "Don't Look Back in Anger" plays as Condor's character muses about what to write in Peter's yearbook.

During the senior prom, "In My Head" captures Lara Jean's uncertainty while thinking about Peter. "I Will Take Care of You" kicks in during a wedding scene, and "Dancing in the Moonlight" can be heard as Lara Jean briefly reflects about her past. In the climax, "Won't Let Go" once again captures the protagonist's frame of mind, and "Beginning Middle End" plays during a climactic moment. To All the Boys: Always and Forever ends with "On Fire Again" playing during the credits sequence.
