Sometimes, it will only be two or three hostiles that spawn into a zone, while other areas have dozens of enemies that swarm the Ninja Turtle brothers in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Accordingly, it is crucial that players understand how they heal their allies and restore their HP to remain decisive in battle.
Healing another teammate in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a mechanic known as "Cheer Up." Although it might sound cheesy, this mechanic is vital for clearing the more challenging levels of the game. To Cheer Up an ally, players must stand next to their teammate and press the LB button on their controller. Naturally, this default configuration applies to Xbox and PC controllers, as Switch and PlayStation might have a different setup. Alternatively, there is another way to heal in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge that does not involve sacrificing another player's HP. For a character to "self-heal," players can consume healing Pizza Powerups in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a type of pick-up item that will restore one's HP without any disadvantages. Pizza Powerups often appear throughout the level as blue pizza boxes with a green cross symbol on their lid. To consume this item, players can simply walk over during or out of combat. However, keep in mind that only one user can eat a pizza at a time. Unfortunately, the consumable cannot be shared.
