The Classic Headline is a quest item in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge that is part of Burne's Special Request for the protagonists to find every newspaper collectible hidden throughout the levels. Completion of this quest will reward players with 50 points that they can use to level up their character. Classic Headlines can only be found in destructible objects, such as garbage bins or crates. Fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will know they've discovered one of Burne's newspapers when the text "Classic headline found!" appears over their character's head, accompanied by the icon of a folded Channel 6 newspaper.
There are three Classic Headline Newspapers hidden throughout the game's stages, and they are not too difficult to find. However, those deeply engaged in the beat-'em-up combat sequences might miss these newspapers or other collectibles as they explore the world's linear pathways. Therefore, it is always best to smash everything in sight just to ensure the protagonists don't miss anything on their adventure.
Before players begin looking for hidden Classic Headlines, they must first free Burne, located in the first stage of the game, "Episode 01: Jaw-Breaking News." During this mission, the Ninja Turtle brothers in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge must storm Channel 6 Studios and clear the building of hostiles that have taken over the premises.
Every Classic Headline In TMNT: Shredder's Revenge
After passing by two vending machines, players will find an office room full of enemies typing away at their desks. After fighting through this room, players will notice a shaking door in the area directly to the right. Strike it several times to free Burne, who's been imprisoned inside. This action will unlock Burne's Office, where players can accept his quest.
Below is a list of every Classic Headline Newspaper location in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge:
- Classic Headline 1 - Episode 1: Progress through the first stage until reaching the main broadcasting room within Channel 6's studio in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. After fighting past several mobs, players will encounter the screen where the studio's weather news is recorded. Walk into the next area and break the crate directly to the right to find the first Classic Headline.
- Classic Headline 2 - Episode 2: While exploring the city streets in Episode 2, players will encounter a shop called TV Zone. Directly beneath Channel 6's promotional poster on the right, fans will find a destructible trash can with the second newspaper.
- Classic Headline 3 - Episode 4: The last newspaper is in Episode 4 near the end of the level. After fighting through the sidewalk with banana-flinging monkeys in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge, players will find a brochure stand beside a picture of a snake. Break the object to get the last Classic Headline.
