The new trailer for Injustice 2 showcases the arrival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as they team up to battle some of DC's biggest bads. After the wildly popular Injustice: Gods Among Us took the gaming world and DC fandom by storm, the sequel has become hit. An Injustice comic continues to dive into the alternate reality, while last year's Injustice brought back the reworks of iconic DC villains and heroes. From Green Lantern to Brainiac to Firestorm, the game allowed fans to take control of their favorite DC heroes—but it didn't stop there.

Thanks to various DLCs that have been released since the game debuted, new characters from DC and beyond have joined Injustice. Sub-Zero arrived in Injustice 2, connecting the game to its NetherRealm Studios predecessor Mortal Kombat. He was joined by Starfire and Red Hood, giving fans even more characters to interact with. Now, the latest Fighter Pack is on the verge of release and will see some radical reptiles join the game.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the gameplay trailer for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles today, who will join Injustice 2 when Fighter Pack 3 is released on February 13. Additionally, those who purchased the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Pack version of the game will get the characters as well. By equipping the signature weapons of each character, players will be able to take control their Turtle of choice. Meanwhile, all four of the brothers will sub in for certain moves while they'll join forces for their combined Super Move.

The trailer sees each character battling some DC big bads, from Black Manta to Darkseid. It also offers a taste of how their various weapons and personalities will be used, and they all come together for an entertaining Super Move. There's even a 'Caution: Toasty!' reference thanks to Mortal Kombat co-creator being behind Injustice 2 as well.

The Fighter 3 pack will also add some new DC characters to the battle. Along with the Turtles, the Atom is coming to Injustice 2 to bring his size-changing powers into battle. Not every player may have purchased a deluxe edition of the game, but the various Fighter Packs allow fans of key characters to pick and choose what DLC content they want. And it's not just Injustice 2 that's bringing DC and TMNT together, as Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles regularly team up in the comics. Now, if only the Turtles could join the DCEU.
