Jason Todd is still Robin (and not Red Hood) in new images from Titans. DC is launching a digital platform of their own very soon that will be filled with comics, TV shows, and movies fans already know and love. While the familiarity may draw some in at the start, the service will also be the home to tons of original content - and a live-action Titans series is the first that will debut. The show centers around Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) who doesn't have much appreciation for Batman anymore based on the first Titans trailer.

He's joined by Starfire (Anna Diop), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), and Raven (Teagan Croft), who all assembled for a recently released image. They are far from the only DC characters set to appear in Titans though. One that intrigues fans the most is the inclusion of Jason Todd, another Robin who eventually becomes the villain/anti-hero called Red Hood.

The first official look at Jason Todd, as played by Curran Walters, in Titans has arrived. IGN released two photos of Jason from the show, and he's joined by Dick in both. The two Batman sidekicks look identical and don't appear to be too friendly towards each other.

The reason for this meet-up between the two different Robins isn't yet clear, so this could be a team-up opportunity for them. They could also run into each other by accident if they're both investigating the same case. Showrunner Greg Walker spoke to IGN about the photos and the encounter between Dick and Jason, confirming the tension that exists between the two in these photos is a big part of the show and their relationship.

This encapsulates the tension, the energy between these two guys. It's like running into your ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, minus the sexual tension. You get to watch Dick Grayson struggle when he sees another Robin and how that Robin is different and has a different relationship with 'dad.' And the second child gets away with stuff the first child would never get away with in a family, and ours is really a family show.

These are the first images of Walters in the Robin costume, after set photos merely showed him in Todd's civilian clothing. As a result, this makes these photos the very first showing of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd together in a live-action setting. We don't yet know how involved Jason is in the show overall, but Walters did film up through June of this year.

These photos are just the latest pieces of information to be released for Titans as the show gears up for its debut. DC Universe has set an October 12 launch date for the series, but it will just be the first episode. The full season of Titans isn't going to be made available right away and will instead release new episodes on the service every Friday.
