DC's Titans reveals the first full look at star Teagan Croft's updated White Raven character from season 4. Adapted from the eponymous Teen Titans comic book team, Titans debuted on the DC Universe streaming service in 2018, before making its way to HBO Max. Titans season 4 has gone fully supernatural, with the heroes led by Nightwing (Brenton Thwaites) fighting off the villainous Mother Mayhem (Franka Potente) and her Church of Blood. The villain's plan is to bring back the demon lord Trigon to the Earth after the Titans managed to imprison him during the season 2 premiere.Shortly after Titans' mid-season finale featured White Raven's disappointing debut, the first full look at Croft's new look arrived on the show's Twitter page. The transformation for the hero felt rushed and did not provide a clear glimpse at the new suit. The team behind the show has now provided a full look at Titans' take on White Raven. The design features a cloak and dress in different shades of white that differ from the same-tone style of White Raven in the comics and animated series. Titans Season 4 Teagan Croft as White Raven In Battle

The DC hero's White Raven form has appeared in the comics before, where it is more commonly known as her Soul-Self. But viewers also saw it featured multiple times on the Teen Titans animated show. White Raven is known to be her most powerful form. The first manifestation of White Raven in the Teen Titans animated show came in episode six of Teen Titans season 1, "Nevermore." Raven's emotions became unbalanced, releasing her rage during the Teen Titans' earlier battle with the villain Doctor Light. Raven decides to access her own subconsciousness to put things in order, but she gets mixed up with a manifestation of her demon father Trigon. Raven managed to defeat him by joining her different selves into the White Raven form.

DC's live-action series is telling its own version of this story, with Titans even including the "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" chant from the cartoon in season 4. Raven's new power coming in Titans season 4 is fitting as the show dives deeper into supernatural stories and characters. As such, Raven gets an important role to play, given the hero's connection to the supernatural and different planes of existence throughout her history. This continued with Titans' midseason finale and the White Raven transformation after she finally reclaims her powers.

The ramifications of Titans season 4's White Raven debut will surely play out over the course of the remaining episodes, but it could also be something that impacts season 5 if it happens. The show is on the bubble of possible cancelation after James Gunn and Peter Safran were put in charge of DC Studios. The recent cancelation of Stargirl put Titans on high alert. Stargirl was more universally loved than Titans, with the Nightwing-led series being at the forefront of a few controversies since its debut. As it currently stands, all audiences can do to help the show's chances is to tune in for Titans season 4 when the series returns with Part 2 on HBO Max in 2023.
