Titans star Jay Lycurgo, who portrays Tim Drake on the HBO Max drama, may have accidentally spoiled his Robin costume from season 4. Ever since the launch of Titans on DC Universe (before its move to HBO Max), the series has always served as a hybrid of two key franchises. One of them is the Teen Titans themselves, following the adventures of Nightwing and his band of heroes. At the same time, Titans has also explored various aspects of the Batman lore, from characters like Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Tim Drake to Bruce Wayne, Scarecrow, and Barbara Gordon. Titans season 3 was even set in Gotham City with Jason now operating as Red Hood before it was revealed that Jonathan Crane was the big bad all along.

Amid Dick taking on the Nightwing mantle and Jason's evolution into Red Hood, Tim was introduced during Titans season 3. In the comics, Tim is known as the third Robin. Portrayed by The Batman star Jay Lycurgo, Tim debuted as a huge fan of Batman and Robin, with hopes of becoming the next Boy Wonder. At the end of the season finale, Tim ended up becoming the latest member of the titular team, as they left Gotham City in order to pursue their next adventure for Titans season 4, which is coming this fall.

As Titans season 4 has been busy filming their upcoming finale, Lycurgo may have accidentally spoiled a massive plot point. Lycurgo (via @Donnasconor) went live on Instagram earlier Wednesday, and during his segment, he was seen sporting what looks to be a dark-green domino mask behind his shades. While Cycurgo's Instagram live video is no longer available, it didn't take long for eager Titans fans to screenshot him wearing the mask, which can be seen below.

So far, the Titans star has yet to make any follow-up to this (possibly) accidental reveal. However, it wouldn't be shocking if this was a planned PR move to have Lycurgo reveal a glimpse of his Robin suit "by mistake." It also wouldn't be a huge surprise if Titans season 4 is really turning him into the next Robin. The DC TV drama hasn't been shy in having some of its characters take on their iconic titles sooner rather than later. It took only two seasons for Jason, who had been the new Robin for a relatively short time before he got killed off and evolved into Red Hood.

Given that Jay was added to the team at the end of last season, it would almost make no sense if Titans season 4 didn't conclude with him finishing his training and becoming the new Robin. Tim turning into the next Robin while being a member of the Titans rather than through Batman's guidance is a refreshing story that has the potential to be one of the better arcs for the HBO Max drama. If this also means that Dick and Tim will grow closer, it will give Nightwing a proper Titans arc as a mentor, as he spent the first two seasons tackling his inner darkness. Hopefully, with Titans season 4 coming up this fall, Warner Bros. TV and HBO Max will release an official promotional look at Tim's Robin costume.
