Joseph Morgan, who is set to play the DC Comics Brother Blood in Titans season 4, confirms the script for the season finale is finished. Titans, one of HBO Max's most popular DC TV shows, is getting ready to make its return later this year. Originally launched as a DC Universe original, Titans is a gritty re-imagination of the Teen Titans, following Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing, as he leads a group of young heroes. After Titans season 2, the show moved to HBO Max, as DC Universe ceased to make original shows and became a comic book service instead.

Titans season 3 focused on the heroes' battle with a personal threat in the form of a former ally Jason Todd, a.k.a. Red Hood. While it turned out that Scarecrow was the true villain of Titans season 3, season 4 will leave Gotham City behind. Currently, plot details are being kept under wraps, but several villains have been announced to appear in Titans season 4. One of the actors behind these villains is Morgan, best known for playing Klaus Mikaelson in The CW's The Vampire Diaries universe, who is boarding Titans season 4 as the DC baddie Brother Blood.

Out of all the cast members in Titans season 4, Morgan has been sharing the most updates on playing the iconic Teen Titans foe in several social media posts. With the production of Titans season 4, which is set in Toronto, is coming closer to its end, Morgan shared on Twitter that the season finale script is officially finished. Without revealing any spoilers, Morgan confirmed he has read it, while also using a fitting GIF of his The Originals character to describe the Titans season 4 finale script:

Morgan's Brother Blood, a.k.a. Sebastian Sanger (rather Sebastian Blood, as per the comics), will be a series regular alongside fellow newcomer Franka Potente, who has been cast as May Bennett, a.k.a. Mother Mayhem. According to Morgan's previous social media posts, Titans season 4 will see the origin story of how Sebastian becomes Brother Blood. Titans is now the second Greg Berlanti-produced TV show to include Brother Blood, as Kevin Alejandro played a more grounded version of Sebastian in Arrow season 2.

As the crew are most likely now getting ready to start shooting Titans season 4, episode 12 with a finished script, this serves as a hint as to when the new season will finally arrive on HBO Max. Despite Titans star Brenton Thwaites having claimed that season 4 will arrive in October, Warner Bros. TV and HBO Max haven't officially announced this. Given that Titans will not be going to San Diego Comic-Con later this month, this removes one event that could have possibly revealed the premiere date. As the Titans season 4 finale likely starts shooting shortly based on Morgan's post, a release date will hopefully be coming soon.
