Here's what Titans' Curran Walters could look like as Red Hood in season 3. Titans season 2 came to an end last November, and since then fans have eagerly awaited the next batch of episodes in the DC series. The original plan was to have Titans season 3 premiere this fall, similar to how the previous two seasons panned out, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed production. As a result, it isn't clear when Titans will come back, only that it will and it'll be available on HBO Max this time around instead of DC Universe. The hope among fans is that season 3 will finally carry through on its promise to show the Titans team together properly.

Walters joined Titans as a recurring player for season 1 before being upped to a series regular in season 2. He plays Jason Todd, Batman's second Robin after Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) moved on. The end of Titans season 2 saw Jason striking out on his own after various traumas and disappointments, leaving fans to wonder where his story will go next. The answer was revealed at DC FanDome last month, when news broke that Jason will become Red Hood in this next season.

Fans (and Walters) are extremely excited to see Red Hood get brought to life, and as they wait for the first official look at Walters in character, they can imagine his appearance through fan art. In a new piece from Josh, Walters dons the iconic red mask and suit, thus giving fans an idea of what he could look like on the show. Check it out down below.

Making this storyline particularly intriguing is the fact that it's missing a key step from the comics. There, Jason only becomes Red Hood after being brutally murdered by the Joker. Jason is later resurrected and adopts his own vigilante persona. Titans isn't looking to include that piece of Jason's evolution, so it remains to be seen how his transition will be handled.

Nevertheless, there's a lot of excitement surrounding Red Hood's Titans debut. This will mark the first live-action adaptation of the character, and it'll be quite interesting to see how this Jason (aka, a Jason who hasn't died) handles being Red Hood. Jason's official logline for the season says he's driven by his obsession toward taking down his former team, making for a potentially compelling story. The only thing left for Titans now is to actually start filming season 3; that way, fans can finally see Red Hood get brought to life.
