Though Walters is uncertain when the third season of Titans will resume filming, he is not against bringing his character into a potential spinoff series. In an interview with ComicBook, Walters said, "Yeah, I mean, that would be pretty cool. I mean, it all depends on what the team thinks and where the Titans writers decide to go so. It'd be cool if we even got to the storyline on Titans someday. We'll definitely see." He also provided some insight into preparing for his role as Jason Todd, which involved researching comic books.

Prior to receiving the role, Walters was not an avid comic book reader, but made sure to dig deep in order to fully understand his character. He claimed that there is pressure playing a comic book character well known by many, but that preparation was the key to successfully playing his role:

You know, on the day, you have all this pressure of booking a comic book role, especially since the character's been around for so long. You feel a sort of pressure on you, but I just did my best, and I think I nailed the role, and all the fans are pretty happy with it.

Though shooting has been put on hold due to the pandemic, fans can expect season 3 of Titans to include new faces and potential reunions. They can stream it on DC Universe. As for the Red Hood spinoff of Titans, nothing is in the works yet, though fans may be interested in Todd's transformation into the antihero Red Hood. The show has potential as the DC Universe keeps expanding.
