Titans Reveals First Look At DC Universe's Donna Troy

New images from DC Universe's live-action Titans series introduce Conor Leslie as Donna Troy, AKA Wonder Girl. For the first live-action TV show to stream on DC's digital service, they decided to put the spotlight on a group of younger heroes known as the Titans. The show's main character is Dick Grayson, AKA Robin (Brenton Thwaites), but he's far from the only DC hero who's made an appearance.

Rounding out the main Titans team alongside Robin are Koriand'r, AKA Starfire (Anna Diop), Gar Logan, AKA Beast Boy (Ryan Potter), and Rachel Roth, AKA Raven (Teagan Croft). While the series focuses on their early days as a team, it hasn't been shy at including several other recognizable characters from the pages of DC comics. Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dove (Minka Kelly) were two of the earliest appearances, and they've been followed by the introduction of the Doom Patrol, and most recently with Jason Todd (Curran Walters).

Another DC character set to join Titans for next week's episode will be Donna Troy, AKA Wonder Girl. She'll be played by Conor Leslie (The Man In The High Castle) and DC (via CBR) has finally revealed an official look at her. The photos are from episode eight of season 1, which is properly titled "Donna Troy" to signify her debut and importance to the episode. As for the photos, Leslie is just shown in some causal attire for Donna, so she's far from her superhero look from the comics.

Donna aka Wonder Girl first appeared in 1965 in the pages of The Brave and The Bold #60. She was created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani originally as a younger version of Wonder Woman, but since evolved into a completely different Amazonian hero. Donna was instrumental in the founding of the original Teen Titans team that consisted of Robin, Wally West, and Aqualad. Her involvement in Titans means half of that lineup will be present in the show.

The photos don't reveal much about Donna's involvement in the episode, other than that she appears to be putting some investigative skills to work. What or who she's possibly searching for isn't yet clear. Previous set videos showed Donna and Dick together, and the first image appears to be part of that encounter (if that's the back of Thwaites' head that is). It currently isn't known how large of role she'll have in the rest of Titans' first season, but fans should at least be able to count on a significant role for her in her debut episode.
