Ben Affleck's Batman may have been spotted in the newest promo spot for Titans. The inaugural project for DC Universe, the one-stop streaming service with regard to everything related to the comic book brand, the show tackles how the titular superhero team of Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Diop), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) came about with Brenton Thwaites' Dick Grayson, former Robin, as their leader.

Despite no word whether or not Batman will make an official appearance in Titans, the fact of the matter is that the Caped Crusader is much intertwined with the show's narrative. Grayson's previous gig as a superhero sidekick is going to be integral in crafting the young hero's future arc. So far, fans have only seen Bruce Wayne (only his silhouette) in flashbacks - leaving it to people's imagination what the show's version of the character is like and at the same time delaying the need to properly introduce him. But if a brand new clip from the show is any indication, it seems like the show's Bat of Gotham could actually be the same as the DCEU's as it might be played by Affleck.

DC Universe has released a brand new promo spot for Titans titled "Saga" (watch it below), which begins with nods to Grayson's story - from his gymnast past to the death of his parents. A reference to Batman was also understandably included considering his time as Robin, but what makes it more interesting is the fact that the silhouette used for the Caped Crusader appears to be from Affleck's version. Eagle-eyed fans obviously didn't miss it and took it to Twitter to share their sentiments regarding it. Read their comments below:

If this is indeed foreshadowing of Bruce's eventual cameo in the show, it's not going to be something totally unexpected. However, chances of Affleck's version of the character actually debuting in the show are very slim. Not only is his future with the DCEU not sorted out yet (technically, he's supposed to be still attached with Matt Reeves' The Batman, but persistent rumors claim he's out of the role), introducing him in the show effectively connects the TV series to the existing lore established on the big screen. Chances are that this is nothing more but a fun Easter egg for DC fans.

If Titans eventually decides to officially introduce their own version of the Caped Crusader, it will be most likely be played by a different actor. Rumor has it that Lewis Tan may actually be playing the role. Since he confirmed that he met with DC about a Batman related role, pieces of evidence continue to pile up corroborating this claim, and the latest spot may be signaling that his formal arrival will come sooner than later.
